duncan (also often to referred as 'majmun' or 'monkey' by his acquaintances) is currently around twenty years old, and in college, studying criminology. can you tell i have a mild obsession with detectives? he was born on seventeenth of november. his mother died while giving birth to him, and his father decided that he alone wouldn't be able to raise duncan properly, so he gave him over to his parents, or duncan's grandparents.
they have done a pretty good job at raising him, gave him lots of attention, but still taught him discipline. he grew up as an only child, which, in all honesty, didn't bother him one bit, he never really yearned for any company; which was weird for a kid, but he found the company of his grandparents enough. even when he started school, duncan never seemed to make many friends. sure, he wasn't lonely, and talked just fine with his classmates, but rarely ever went to hang out with anybody outside of classes.

he had one person he would call a friend, nick. nick was his neighbor next door. in the village where they lived there wasn't many kids nearby, so duncan's parents made him talk to nick as an attempt in making him socialize. at first he was totally against the idea, but gave in once he saw nick make a model of a spaceship. unbeknownst to nick, duncan had a bit of a hyperfixation on space.
