Ace leaned against his desk, he was feeling so tired as of right now and he rather be anywhere else than in this classroom. However, the law requires him to go to school and it was better than being at home alone with his thoughts.

The young male was a little confused as to why they were learning science, he had thought this was history class as that was usually what Mr. Feeny taught. He decided not to think so much on it right now and just continue to listen to the lesson for now.

Ace wasn't even sure who was even talking in front of his class, he didn't know many of his class mates, not that he minded. He rather not know them because they always silently judge him anyway. Not that he tried to care much about it anyway.

The assignment had been given by Mr. Feeny, he had worked with Stuart for it at first, however he knew his best friends Cory and Shawn would be redoing the project with different partners. So, when Mr. Feeny called his friends up Ace knew the male would regret it in a second.

"How air pollution effects our everyday lives." Cory started, facing the class after he got up to the front of the classroom. Mr. Feeny seemed impressed at the topic, Ace knew he shouldn't be considering who it was. They pull out pointers, like this was a good idea in it of itself.

"Denver," Shawn slapped the board with the pointer, however he never even pointed to the place, he had placed the pointer on the Gulf of Mexico. "High atop the majestic Rocky Mountains. Elevation: five thousand feet."

And that was where Ace could see Mr. Feeny realize he may have made a mistake of letting the two pick partners themselves. So, finally when his two best friends had finished their presentation and asked the male sitting at his desk how they did.

Mr. Feeny told the two, that they would redo the presentation and that he would pick the partners since he couldn't trust the two boys to pick their own partners. Ace chuckled to himself as he listened to their teacher on who Shawn and Cory's new partners  would be.

Ace walked out of the classroom with his two best friends once the bell had run signaling the end of the class. He asked how the two were gonna do with their new partners, Shawn asked why he didn't have to redo it.

"Because, unlike you two dimwits, I actually helped my partner and we did okay. The only reason Stuart is redoing it is to help you out Shawn." The shorter male shrugged his shoulders as he dropped his things off in his locker. He didn't take out a lunch pail, which wasn't unusual for him anyway.

"I don't get how you do so well." Shawn muttered softly, Ace told his friend he only did well because he wanted to. Besides, Ace didn't think he did much, he just tries his hardest even though he hardly understands anything.

Walking into the lunch room, Cory headed for the venching machines while Shawn and Ace sat down, mensed into a conversation about whatever they felt like talking about. It wasn't until Cory came back over that the conversation moved onto said male as he asked about his hair.

Ace stifled a small laugh at that, why in the gods was Cory so worried about his hair, he would never understand. Shawn found it just like he did, telling his best friend not to ask him about it, because guys just don't ask about each others hair ever.

Ace greeted the female that had just walked over, Topanga held a clipboard in her hand as she talked to Cory. The curly haired male looked like he just wanted out of the whole conversation with Topanga. Ace actually liked her company in all honesty.

"I'll sign the petition for you Topanga," Ace's soft and quiet voice cut through the slightly tense atmpshere that had been created. The female smiled softly handing the petition over to the other, "There you go," He gave her one of his rare real smiles and bid her goodbye as she left.
