Friendship bracelets ||| Bruce Yamada x reader

A few days have passed since Bruce transferred to my class. We have became good friends in a short period of time. Bruce is more than what he shows others, in fact he's completely different. Bruce enjoys the darker things like scary stories and true crime. Apparently there was a boy who went missing not too long ago but he was never found. The only thing that was left where he was last seen was a black balloon. Learning this scared you a lot.

Right now you both had a free period so you sat on the stairs outside of school.

"So when am I gonna get my very own friendship bracelet?" Bruce teased you.

All your other friends had friendship bracelets, even Gwen.

"OH! Thank you for reminding me! I actually made you one the day we met!" Your face lit up.

You quickly pulled the bracelet out of your backpack.

"Give me your hand so I can go put it on you!" You exclaimed.

Bruce extended his hand and you grabbed it. You slid the green,white, and blue bracelet onto his wrist and tied it on his hand. You were still holding his hand and looked up at him and smiled.

"Do you like it?" You were excited.

"Yeah I do actually, thank you" he smiled back at you.

You both stared at each other for a few more seconds and then Bruce noticed you were still holding his hand. His face was shot with light pink in his cheeks.

"What's wro-" you cut yourself off as soon as you noticed what you were doing. Quickly you grabbed your hand back and awkwardly laughed.

You both looked away from each other for a few seconds. Both of you were about to speak but then Finney and Robin popped out of nowhere.

"Hey we were wondering if you guys wanted to go to the skate park after school." Finney suggested.

"Oh sure!" Bruce gladly accepted.

"Hmm...sure why not!" You smiled.

"Cool Robin and I are walking there right after school, wanna join us?" Finney questioned.

"I can do that." you replied.

"Sorry I have to go home and tell my parents first and then I'll meet up with you three!" Bruce said while scratching the back of his neck.

"Sounds good" Robin said while nodding.

Next thing you knew it was the end of school. You met up with Finney and Robin by the entrance. Bruce had already left so he could meet us in time. While on your way to the skate park you all stepped into a gas station to buy drinks. You had also bought Bruce a drink. It took you guys 10 minutes to walk to the park. Finney and Robin were already practicing tricks while you sat in a secluded part of the park waiting for Bruce to show up.

Two hours passed and he still hasn't shown up so you guys decided to head back home. You just assumed he wasn't allowed to go so you saved his drink to give to him at school tomorrow.

The next day you were walking to school when you noticed something in the middle of the road. You had also noticed a black balloon tied to a fence. It caught your attention so you looked both ways and went to pick it up. When you picked it up you were shocked. It was the bracelet you gave Bruce yesterday. You thought he might've dropped it so you were going to return it to him. As you continued walking you saw a missing person poster. Your eyes grew wide and you felt tears forming as you saw who it was. It was no one other than Bruce Yamada.
