A Gamer's Journey (Reopened!)

(Phantom Thieves) Cat's in the bag... Not

Author's note: Guess who's back??? That's right! I'll be honest: I didn't really have any intentions to reopen this book, mainly because I was unmotivated to keep writing and it was hard to move out of writer's block... Until now, that is. Suddenly, I got this idea for a start-up story revolving the Phantom Thieves of Persona 5. This isn't an X reader plot, I know, but I did set it up in a way that could have a sequel if so desired. It might hint to an Akira/Ren x reader, but really, it could be with any of the Phantom Thieves, except Morgana unless if it's strictly platonic, sorry. But don't let me keep you: Have fun!

"Aw c'mon!!! This is takin' way too long!!!"

Exclaimed a blonde-haired teenager, who appeared to be waiting for the train. He turned to look at his friends, clearly impatient.

"Now, now, Ryuji. Surely you could wait just a little bit longer for the train? Who knows, maybe some inspiration could come to any of us at every given moment."

Stated a taller young man, wearing a different uniform from the rest of the group.

"Dude, you're the only artist here. I ain't got the patience for that crap."

"For once, I'm gonna have to agree with Ryuji. No one is capable of getting inspiration here except for you, Yusuke."

Meowed what was definitely not a cat in a bag.

"And Ryuji is also right in that this is taking too long... Seeing this crowd is kinda starting to make me anxious."

A small, young lady murmers, clinging onto the owner of the cat in the bag. He was yet another teenager in a uniform, and the only person besides the young lady wearing glasses in this group.

"Hang in there a little longer, Futaba. Once the train arrives, it's off to the Seaside Park."

"Exactly! Think about all the yummy sweets there'll be Futaba-chan!"

An attractive, blue-eyed girl chimes in.

"Or more to your liking: Perhaps all the minigames we could play and best Ryuji in?"

A short, brown-haired and slim young lady speaks up, only to be answered by a loud "HEY!!!" By none other than Ryuji himself, to which all but one young female laugh.

"Don't be so mean to Ryuji: We're all going so that we can have fun together, right?"

"That is correct, Haru. Most especially as a day to relieve ourselves from the Phantom Thief business: We've changed so many hearts, it's only fair we take a small break here and there."

Everyone nods vigorously, eager to head to their destination soon. Luckily for them, the train they've been waiting for arrives just as the conversation ends. Immediately they try their best to push their way amongst the crowd into the train without being separated from one another. They almost manage, but unfortunately for them: The cat is out of the bag, quite literally.

"... Crap. Has anyone seen Morgana?"

Immediately the dark-haired male raises his voice enough for his friends to hear him amongst the noise in the endless sea of people.

"Wait, Morgana isn't inside your backpack???"

Immediately the red-eyed female, who's name is Makoto asks.

"No, I had it slightly open so that Morgana could get some fresh air. I bumped into too many people and he flew out!"

"Wait, are you for real!?"
