Caroline's P.O.V.-
"She's in trouble.."
"Ugh,.."
"I just know it.."
"Caroline, This is Loralie, you are talking about."
I looked up from the spot on the floor I had been staring at as I paced and locked eyes with Stefan as he sat down on the couch, pouring himself a cup of bourbon. I kept my worried look but sighed, "You're right." I muttered.
"She's not dumb, or weak for that matter," He said swishing the bourbon in his cup around in small circles as he gazed up at me.
I nodded, "Yeah..I'm just going to go check on Bonnie.." I said, turning and heading for the stairs. "Caroline."
I stopped walking and slowly turned towards him. "Yes?" I asked softly. He looked down and slowly set his cup down, "I need to tell you something.."
Bonnie's P.O.V.-
I wasn't surprised when my phone began to vibrate across Loralie's bed-side table as it went off. I sat slowly on her bed and gazed around trying to ignore it. I was in her room, trying to..well pray.
The familiar name popped up on the screen as it kept vibrating. The same name I had hit 'end' on without even answering eight times already in the past four days.
My eyes snapped over to the phone as it went silent, and with a sigh of relief I set my face in my hands.
A small jolt of fear went through me as it went off again, vibrating across the table. With an angry growl I snatched the phone up and gazed at the screen before clicking answer and holding it up to my ear.
"Ten calls..really?" I asked coldly. After a few moments of silence, they answered.
"Woa, wait, you actually answered? Weird. Ten times the charm, eh?"
"What do you want?" I snapped.
"Ouch, someone's not in a good mood.."
"Really? You're gonna pull that crap.." I hissed.
"Woa wait, look. Don't hang up,"
"Then, what do you want?"
"I need to know."
"Why? So you can move on with life and be happy? So you can just leave this all behind you and just know that everything was atleast okay when you left? I have more important things. I lied, I told Loralie the baby wasn't there, that she wasn't prengnant. She is, of course. She's sick and she's fading fast, "
"What.."
"Loralie's as good as dead, and you know what, this could have ended up better if you were here!" I yelled coldly. The person on the other side let out a few soft chokes before answering.
"The baby..?"
"Dead too, Well, might as well be."
"I-"
"Dont' bother coming back here, as you can tell, we are doing just fine without you, Damon!" I said coldly before clicking end and tossing the phone across the room. It hit the wooden floor and skidded before slamming in the wall.
Stefan's P.O.V.-
Nervously, Caroline walked towards me before sitting across from me on the other chair.
