Stefan's P.O.V.-

The steam rising off of my coffee faded off into the shiny spot of sun that slipped through the window and onto the kitchen floor. I ignored the urge to gulp down the hot drink, no matter how bad my tongue wanted to taste it, I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy anything right now. Not now.

I sighed and leaned back against the counter before placing my cup down beside me. I stared at the sun spot, I fought another urge. The urge to go upstairs and check on her, to see if she was awake. To see, that this was all a dream. I knew it wasn't, I had been up all night, only checking on her a few times. I couldn't check on her as much as I wanted to, Damon stayed in the room. All night.

The first sign he had been in there was him grabbing an empty cup from the cabinet, making a clinking sound as he set it on the counter. I looked up quickly and locked eyes with him. How long had he been there?

"Is she.."

"Sleeping beauty's still in a deathly slumber." He said, grabbing the coffee, eyeing it oddly, then setting it back down and sighing. "There's got to be a spell Bonnie can do or something." I said pushing myself off of the counter. "Abra-ca-dabra is researching now." He replied running his fingers through his hair. "Damon," I began.

""Don't, Stefan." He said narrowing his eyes. "I can't fight Fate. It's not possible." He said turning and walking out of the kitchen.

Damon's P.O.V.-

It's not that I was mad at Stefan, I was pissed at the voodoo crap Bonnie called 'spirits'. It's those bastards that did this. I walked out of the kitchen and barely made it down the hallway when the front door swung open. "Hasn't any body hear of knocking?" I mumbled as Bonnie walked into the house. "You found something?"

Stefan approached from behind me as Bonnie looked up from papers she shuffled in her hand. "Yes, I think I have a spell."

She walked past me and Stefan before jogging up the stairs. I listened as she slammed Loralie's door shut, before I sighed. "Should we follow?" Stefan asked. I turned and walked past him, not even glancing at him. With a sigh, he followed.

---

I sat anxiously on the window seat as Stefan sat in her chair. We watched as Bonnie stood at the end of Loralie's Bed, her eyes closed as she concentrated. I avoided looking at Loralie's blank face, she looked peaceful, almost..dead.

"Don't you need candles or something?" Stefan asked as she closed her eyes. Slowly opening them, she looked at him. "I need silence." I smiled at her reply before she closed her eyes again.

"I can feel her,.." Bonnie mumbled. "She's scared, tired, almost..weak." I tried to concentrate of Loralie now, ignoring Bonnie. I couldn't listen to her anymore, I couldn't bare it.

Bonnie's P.O.V.-

I searched and dug for the power, for the spell, but nothing came up. Just,..nothing. "Whenever you're ready, Teenage witch." Damon said impatiently. I opened my eyes and looked at him, "Something's wrong." I said looking back at Loralie. "What do you mean, wrong?" Stefan asked.

"Well, she's pure, so that's not it. It's like the spirits aren't letting me heal her..almost like,"

"Like what?" Stefan urged on. "Come on, Bonnie. We don't have all day." Damon hissed.

"That's not possible," I mumlbed.

Damon's P.O.V.-

"Speak, Bonnie use your words." I said standing up annoyingly. She walked over to Loralie's bedside and placed a hand on her head before narrowing her eyes. She moved her hand down to her stomach, "I'm going to count to three, and"

"No," Bonnie said quickly.

"Then speak!" I hissed taking a step forward. "It just shouldn't be possible.." She said shaking her head, her eyes were wide.

"What shouldn't be possible, Bonnie?" Stefan asked. She looked up at Stefan then at me, before answering with a nervous and scared voice.

"Loralie's Pregnant."
