After spending almost a full day at the airport waiting for my connecting flight to Cape Town and being air sick from the first flight all I wanted to do was read a book and relax. I had a window seat, like always but for the first time, two people came and sat next to me. I was sitting with my novel out and my laptop bag under my seat. "What are you reading?" mmh, I am sure he wasn't interested in what I was reading. I showed him the title. After a while, I ended up putting the book away before he kept speaking. He said I was sitting in his seat, I told him he was mistaken. We argued back and forth. I was certainly sure the seat was mine because my ticket had a window seat written on it. I took out my ticket and showed him. He told me he was from Cameroon and his name: Dominic. He was doing his master's at UCT, mechanical engineering-I think. He has seven siblings, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. I told him that one of my favourite subjects is Biology and we ended up speaking about the reproductive system. Near the end of the flight, he asked for my number.
