"you want her to what me" we both turn to see a smirking yet surprised Chishiya
"Chishiya, I thought you had an executives meeting" Kuina muttered looking shocked
"Finished, it was only a catch up" He chucked
"great well you two have fun" I say getting up and speed walking out the door not even bothering to close it
I didn't even reply to Kuina and i still feel embarrassed
while dwelling on the moment in my head i accidentally run into something, well someone, "there she is! the girl of the hour" I look up at the dark haired man whose running his tongue piercing over his top lip, "bring her"
before I can react to the statement two random militant helpers are dragging me off, following Niragi's lead
soon enough we reach the basement where there's a dance floor and bar flooded with familiar militant helpers, I look around with my eyebrows lowered
"this is the militant lounge, you've been invited" Niragi says resting one of his guns by the door before leading me - whose now following by my own accord, to a secluded room separated by a long hallway and a curtain
While entering I realise sitting at the table are the recognised faces of Hatter, Aguni, Ann and number two whose name i'm unable to recall
Niragi takes a seat immediately lighting a cigarette
"Akira please sit" Hatter smiles nodding his head at the open seat next to Niragi
"Hi?" I question warily
"Oh don't be so formal" Hatter laughs seeming to be the only one at the table with that mindset as Ann stays composed hands on her lap, Aguni taking a sip of Whiskey looking me dead in the eye and the other two not even bothering to bat an eye at me
"Come on! have a cig, drink, a vape?" Hatter grins pulling a small purple vape out of his back pocket. Seeing my dissatisfied expression towards the smoke device his eyes light up as he reaches into his other pocket, "gum"
to this i'm look him up and down before taking one out of the pack quietly thanking him
"can we get to the point of this?" Aguni sighs sitting back in his seat
"am i that much of a bore?" Hatter turns to the brawny man, though his only response is a grunt
"Akira, it seems you're quite popular amongst the talented players - athletes, leaders" Ann lists, "stoners" Number two scoffs
"I know, I can't really control who I know though" I shuffle unsure what they want from me
"Ah see that's the beauty, you came in a cheer uniform so I take it you were a popular cheerleader? on your way to training when this all happened?" Hatter question with a smirk
"a game but sure" I mumble wanting to leave
"same same" Hatter shrugs
"can we please get to the point?" Number two speaks again, he's very impatient
"we want to take Kane down, presumably it was an easy task as his structure of communities was unstable" Hatter starts, he sure is talking a lot
"though it appears his people are as loyal as bees to their queen"
"what's that gotta do with me? he's a people pleaser, no surprises with him acting like a little puppet to their demands"
"though that's not the case" Ann disturbs "While to you he may seem easy to manipulate, easy to cross he isn't like that when you leave the room"
"meaning?"
"he's a moth driven to a flame, you are that flame. He accepted us due to you being in our party" Aguni butted in, "we attempt to talk business but all he wants to talk is you. How you are, how tough a time Daiko or whatever gave you" Aguni continues to explain
"right and you want me to do what about this?"
"arent you meant to be smart?" Niragi remarks
"I know what your implying though i want you to say it" I return a glare
"manipulate him, make him think he wants to let his little fraternity to fall apart and with how head over heels he is for you we are sure it'll work" Hatter laughs sipping a beer
"head over heels isn't the word I would use to describe his infatuation with Akira but hatter does have a point" Ann cuts in
I pause looking over the table, "what do I get?"
"what do you wish for?" Aguni raises his eyebrow
I purse my lips thinking what i could ask, "a favour from any of you, whenever." I decide concluding it's better then choosing out of the blue now
"we'll talk it over - glad to see your on board though Akira" Hatter says before getting up and excusing himself
