We had acquired the cards and were just heading back, Niragi and Saiko were making conversation as Chishiya watched tuning in with a smart statement every now and then
I was watching out the window until I saw a variety store, "Saiko could you pull over? I just wanna grab something in there real quick" I ask smiling at the girl through the rear view mirror
she doesn't reply to the smile though pulls over
I unbuckle my seatbelt and go to get out before Niragi pulls my hand back, forcing back into the seat
I lower my eyebrows at the man as he gets out, "gotta make sure the buildings clear, Chishiya will come get you when we're done" he nods at Chishiya, directing him to get out
They both walk wordlessly into the store leaving me with Saiko who's applying lip balm in the front seat
"you should pair that bikini with a sleeveless jacket" I speak as she slowly lifts her eyes to greet mine in the rear view mirror

"niragi was just being stupid again, it was empty" Chishiya nodded opening my door
"Saiko you coming?" I ask seeing the girl hadn't moved from her seat
"i'm good" she smiles
I walk into the building only to see it in a mess, there's vines on the floor, aisles loosely raided and rubbish everywhere
"could you grab me some fake plants?" I ask Chishiya with a smile
He eyes me up and down before leaving not confirming weather or not he'll get the plants, oh well
I make my way to the bathroom aisle just to see all the scale gone?
I sigh as I look around for anything that could do the same but there's nothing
"What are you looking for?" a voice startles me
"your not meant to be here, are you with those men?" a shaggy man asks me after emerging from behind a shelf
"i-i'm sorry we'll go" I say trying to back up
"no no please stay" He looks at me with pleading eyes
"no thank you" I smile lightly while trying to back up, this time he grabs my hand

"Let go! Chishiya! Niragi!" I yell for assistance as the man pulls me back, my attempts to fight only doing so much
"im not gonna hurt you!" The man try's to assure me though it doesn't stop my struggling
before he can get anymore out there's a bullet between his eyes
I gasp as his body drops and turn to see Niragi fuming
he grabs my arm and drags me to the car practically throwing me in there backseat
"stay" he hisses going back in, presumably to find Chishiya
"what'd you do?" Saiko turns back to me
"what do you mean?"
"the hell did you do to make him so mad?"
"some guy tried to drag me into his little fortress in there and Niragi came, shot the guy then dragged me back" I mutter confused
"figures" Saiko scoffs turning away from me again
"what's that mean?"
"all the executives and all the militants are obsessed with you - why? who knows but also who are we to question it" She shakes her head in the drivers seat
"that's not true" I try protest
"you disrespected Aguni, no punishment. Wanna know what happened to the last guy to disrespect him? Niragi chewed his neck out like a zombie cause disrespecting you is disrespecting him" She rolls her eyes
"That's Aguni, one person" I defend shaking my head
"Hatter loves the thrill you give his executives meaning he loves you. Ann goes to games with you without a fight, Chishiya-" I cut her off with his name
"Is my friend, we talk to eachother as friends do"
"whatever, he doesn't care about your feelings, he just wants to fuck with Niragi. Mira and Kuzuryu are the only ones that don't fawn over you and don't even get me started on the militants"
before i can answer she begins, "Last boss watches you constantly for no apparent reason! Aguni sends people to kill for you in games, and watch you when your not playing. Niragi is a fucking lunatic who has wet dreams abo-" before she can finish her word a bullet is through her head in the exact same place as the man inside the store
I shift uncomfortably, this time not as disturbed by the death
I hear her body flop when Niragi opens the car door and hops in her seat as Chishiya gets in shotgun
we're driving in silence for a solid 2 minutes before Chishiya speaks, "Akira did you get what you needed?"
"sadly not, someone must've taken them"
"what we're you looking for?"
"a scale, though I think the executive and militant suites have some? Do you mind if I check my weight on one of yours?" I ask innocently
both the men in front cursing Kane in their heads not only for making Akira think she needs a scale but for telling her they have scales
though Chishiya quickly saw the light of the of the situation, "I say we swap rooms for the night, i've been meaning to switch with Kuina for testing and I can put your plants up" he suggests amusement laced in his voice
"you got my plants?" I ask with a smile
while I was happy that my friend was staying a good friend, unlike Saiko's previous words I was unable to realise the quietly furious man in the drivers seat
