VIII - On The Roads

The Princess wanders herself in the hallway in boredom. Nerissa glanced at the family pictures on the wall and saw the image of her father when he was crowned King. She admitted that he was more charming in the younger times. With his current condition, Nerissa couldn't help but be slightly worried about his health. Her family picture was also taken when she was still a child. Everyone wore an all-black attire. Queen Alice hugs Nerissa, and King Samuel's hand is on Neil's shoulder. She also sighted the picture of Neil and her hugging each other when they were kids. The girl chuckled at how cute kid Neil was. However, she felt embarrassed staring at the kid version of herself and quickly glanced away as if nothing had happened.

Until she gazes at the big picture of her mother, Queen Alice's beauty in this picture is ethereal. The way her diamond tiara sparkles on her black hair. The slight blush on her fair skin. She also wore the dress Nerissa used at the party last night. She was looking down at the flowers. Everyone in Kingston admires this picture. Nerissa curtsied at the picture as a form of greeting.

"How are things in heaven, Mama?" Nerissa speaks in her heart, "I assume they treated you well."

"Nerissa!"

She glanced at the cheerful sound. It turned out to be Boboiboy and the rest of TAPOPS. They saw the big picture and joined her company. Kaizo kisses her cheeks as a form of hello.

"What are you doing here?" Boboiboy questioned.

"Looking at the old pictures." She replies.

The kids stare at the great pictures in awestruck. They were amazed at how the King looked when he was younger. They also squealed, seeing little Nerissa. According to them, both Neil and Nerissa were charming. The most astonishing picture is the picture of the lady with flowers.

"Nerissa. Who's that lady in the picture?" Fang points.

"Say hello, everyone." Nerissa introduces the picture, "This is Queen Alice Dezastaria, my late mother."

"Really?" Kaizo speaks.

The kids bow at the grand picture of her, followed by Kaizo. Although they could only see her from the picture, they were fascinated by her unreal beauty. They even looked at Nerissa and Queen Alice several times, and she noticed something weird had happened.

"What's with the eyes?" She frowns.

The two girls quickly snatch Nerissa and drag her to the picture. Now she is standing awkwardly in front of her mother's picture facing the kids and Kaizo.

"God, what now?"

"Try glancing to your left," Ying demands her.

Not wanting to bigger the problem, she does what they say. She glances to her left, looking down at the floor. In their eyes, the results are what they hoped for. She looked exactly like the picture. Even Kaizo was amazed.

"Woah, she looks just like her!" Boboiboy amazed.

"It's like copy and paste!" Ying agrees.

"Are we done here?" Nerissa blushes, yet annoyed.

The kids sweat, "Ye-Yes, of course, Nerissa...."

Suddenly, a butler approaches her and bows at her presence. Nerissa is wondering what is up.

"Your Highness. The preparations for the journey have finished, and the Crown Prince awaits you outside."

"All right."

Today is the day they will travel around Kingston and beyond. They had been planning this a few days ago. Neil and his guys will join them so that they can guide them. The actual vacation starts today, and they will do so many things. Everyone takes the elevator and goes down to the ground floor. Once they exited the Palace, Nerissa saw Neil and his friends packed up their stuff.
