"God damn it!"
Apparently, Nerissa's morning started with another vision. This time it is about the entire TAPOPS exterminated by her but in a bloody way. She's all alone in her room. Not even Kaizo is there to save her from that horrible dream. The girl wonders if anyone could hear her suffering outside, but she hopes not. Nerissa could say that she's gotten used to these visions, despite how annoying they would be.
After a quick shower and casual attire, she left her suite and went to the guest dining room. Nerissa saw her fellow comrades and brothers were already in their seats, probably waiting for her long enough.
"Pardon my tardiness."
Neil responds, "We just got here. Not big of a deal."
Everyone had omelets, pancakes, toast, or other proteins paired with juices, tea, and coffee. It is splendid. However, the atmosphere is less loud than the other days. It is quiet.
"So, uh..." Boboiboy breaks the silence, "Do we have any plans for today?"
Neil ponders, "Not really. We traveled a lot for two days. I guess we're just gonna stay in our beds."
"I see," Fang acknowledges, "Then, can we look around the palace?"
"Of course, we'll show you around." Silas responds, "Nerissa, care to join us?"
Nerissa swallows her food, "I'd love to, but I'm afraid I have to pass."
"Something matter?" Kaizo queries.
She hesitates to answer, "It came back again this morning. The visions."
"What?!"
"Yes. This time I eradicated TAPOPS." Her words made the kids fall silent, "With that happened, I thought it was time I begin my research in the library."
Neil's eyes then glance at Kaizo with slight anger, "I thought you were supposed to save her from it."
His sister quickly asserts, "He has done nothing wrong with this, Neil. We were both in our rooms, and it came at an unexpected time."
"Last night, you insisted that you would sleep alone. And what happened? You went through hell, and I'm not even there to get you out of it." Kaizo glances at her.
Silas speaks to break the deafening atmosphere, "Now, now. You three have made the kids uncomfortable here. The point is Nerissa won't be joining us on tour. We'll accompany the others, so you don't have to worry about their satisfaction."
Fang agrees, hoping to ease them, "T-That's right, Nerissa. You just have to focus on your recovery. We'll be alright."
Suddenly, Thomas barges into the room and bows to them.
"Is something the matter, Thomas?" Nerissa questions.
"Yes, there is, Your Highness. After this breakfast, his Majesty would like an audience with Honorary Guest, Captain Kaizo. He will be at the indoor garden."
"I see." Kaizo nods in understanding, "I wonder what it would be."
"Shouldn't be critical." Nerissa finishes her omelet and coffee, "Well, it has been a wonderful morning, everyone. Have a good day."
She struts her way to the grand door, leaving everyone concerned. But they knew they couldn't do anything to stop her. So the folks hoped everything would go well with her search.
Nerissa walked to the grand library a few floors beneath the throne room. This is the room where all pieces of knowledge of the past are stored, even confidential ones. There, she began to look at any journal, book, or documents related to the past kings, the founder king, and the blood magic. She finds a few things and brings them all to the desk.
