Time seemed to pass in a blur, and by the time I had come to my senses I was cramming my way in to Kenny's truck again. Looking down at Stan's leg pressed firmly against mine, memories of just moments before came flooding back.
"Dude, oh my god." Stan snorted out, picking up a bottle sitting in the shower. "Is this really no tear toddler shampoo?" His laughter echoed through the steamy bathroom as Cartman pulled the curtain shut.
"I'm sensitive, don't ya know?" Batting his eyelashes for a moment, the brunette wasn't able to hold his laughter in.
"Hey, want a butt?" Stan's voice pulled me from my thoughts as I needily nodded my head. Pulling a cigarette out of the pack he placed it between my lips and lit it quickly with his lighter.
Puffing in, I mumbled around the intrusion in my mouth. "Thanks." As I was turning my head to face the window again, I felt a cold hand on my cheek. Eyes widening slightly, I watched as Stan drew closer, a cigarette now hanging out of his mouth. Pressing the two ends together, he inhaled deeply, causing the spark to share between the two. Blowing the smoke directly in my face, he nodded a thanks.
Returning my gaze out the window, I let myself slip back in to recent memories.
"So, what are you gonna wear?" Stan was lounging on the bed, supported by only his right elbow pressed firmly in to Cartman's bed. His eyes scanned the chubby brunette in front of him, bringing a smile to his lips. "Hopefully just that."
Groaning at his words, brown eyes shot in the ravenette's direction. "Yes, Staniel, I'm going to a party in just my boxers." Rolling his eyes, the brunette quickly picked up a pair of black jeans, bringing them to his nose. Sniffing quickly, he decided they had another wear in them, pulling them on.
Clicking his tongue, Stan let out a chuckle at the nickname. "Staniel, that's a new one." Blueish-grey-in-the-light orbs continued to search the other's figure. "Are you thinking of wearing a tie?" Stan seemed genuinely interested as he leaned in a bit to get a better view as the other disappeared behind the closet door.
Feeling the silky fabric between my fingers, I looked down at the red tie hanging from my neck. Considering I was at a lot of Wendy's get togethers I had a fair collection of ties by now. Usually whenever I went to a party with Heidi she liked to match, which I never minded. It was one of those things we did that made us feel like a normal couple. Thinking back on her, I was suddenly pulled back to my thoughts.
"Eric?" Heidi's voice sang out, as she nudged his shoulder. The two were sitting on Eric's bed, watching whatever movie Heidi wanted to. Eric didn't complain, of course, he was the one that told her to pick whatever she wanted.
"Yes, baby?" Cooing back, his brown eyes twinkled as he looked down at her. She was currently laying against him as he played with a lock of her hair between his fingers. He still couldn't believe she was with him after all the shit he pulled when he was 10. Thinking how lucky he was, two years later, to have her trust him again, brought a genuine smile to his lips.
"Do you promise to love me forever?" Gently, her words wrapped around Eric in a warm embrace. Butterflies attacked his stomach in the most wonderful way.
"Forever." Leaning down, he pressed a gentle kiss to her lips.
Quickly, the image shifted to roughly a year or so later.
"Eric?" Heidi mumbled, looking up at her boyfriend. "Eric why won't you look at me?" She continued, her voice breaking a bit. The spring air drifted from the open window, the sound of cars passing by flooding the silence.
