Colors of You

Thoughts and emotions
Deeper than the sea could ever be
Course through my veins when I see your face, which still remains a token of my past
The sorrowful memories pace in my head
Some memories are red
Some blue
But they all tend to be about you
I miss the memories of lilac and gold
The ones we never told
Now it's only black and Grey
I guess it's cliche
Perhaps one day my memories will once again be yellow and green
Blues, blacks, and greys are the only colors left now
All I have to ask is how
I pretended to be fine
I think that was the first time
I felt true pain
Sharper than a knife
Faster than bullets
The wound filled my red heart
One of almost perfection
Few scars and scratches
With the dark black colors of you
