Megan
The water pulled her with its icy grip, dragging her down into its deadly depths, demanding she open her mouth, urging her to give up and allow the water to flow through her throat down towards her lungs, flooding them full of the icy liquid. Then she would slowly drown, the water would have claimed another victim and it would leave her lifeless body to drift into the blue never ending abyss.
No she thought, I must fight against it. she tried to struggle, to look for the surface. But she couldn't tell the difference between up or down, it was just water, water, water. everywhere was just water. Then she realised she had no control over her body. she couldn't move or see her own arms and legs.
Panic surged through her, she screamed, the scream muffled and dead. immediately after opening her mouth the water forced its way down her throat. She tried to close her mouth but the water held it open, clawing its way towards her lungs.
Then, she awoke in her bed drowning, water exploding from her mouth.
