It was March 28, the day of Natalie's birthday and her birthday party. I had offered Kelly to help decorate or set up but she said she was okay, however, Natalie wanted me to do her nails for the party. I love doing my nails so much that I change it every week! I never do acrylics and I've only done gel a handful of times, but its easier for me to use regular nail polish and do my own designs. Natalie always loves it when I change my nails, so I was more than happy to come in early to do hers.

For the party, I decided to wear a light pink square neck blouse that had lace long sleeves. I paired it with black jeans and wore my black ankle boots. I'm also a big fan of jewelry so you already know I had matching pink earrings, a silver necklace, and silver rings. It was already 11am so I decided to head over, that way I'd have enough time to do Natalie's nails and they'd be completely dry before the party began.

When I arrived at the house, I saw a few cars already parked nearby. The door was opened by Kelly who looked absolutely gorgeous in her light pink maxi dress.

"I'm so glad you could make it! And thank you for agreeing to do Natalie's nails, she's so excited!" said Kelly, as we walked down the hallway toward the backyard.

The backyard was decked out in pink, purple, and blue decorations. There was a unicorn pinata, tons of balloons everywhere, a dessert table that had every dessert imaginable, including the two tiered purple unicorn birthday cake, and a few tables around the yard with various games and activities for the kids to play with.

"Wow, the decorations look amazing!" I said in awe.

"Aww thank you! The decorator came in early today and we just finished up some last touches. I think Mom and Dad are placing the centerpieces on each table right now. I'll go get Natalie so you can begin her nails."

As I was waiting I decided to go up to Mrs. Diamond, Austin and Xavier's mom, to say hello. She was a very sweet lady who looked 20 years younger than her actual age. She and Mr. Diamond have been very kind to me ever since I began babysitting Natalie. They never treat me like the help but more like a friend, which I truly appreciate.

"Hi Skylar, you look so pretty! How've you been?" she asked.

"Hi Mrs. Diamond! Thank you, you look wonderful as well!"

"Please I told you to stop being so formal with me! Just call me Becca."

"I'm sorry but I already feel weird calling Austin and Kelly by their first names. My mom always told me to address people that are older than me and my bosses with respect. But I'll try to get accustomed to calling you by your first name."

"Oh you're so sweet! Your mom raised you right. We are all so glad to have you here and taking care of our dear Natalie."

Just then Natalie came outside holding Xavier's hand. She looked so pretty with her hair curled and her poofy purple dress. She had the perfect pair of slippers matching her dress too! She was just so adorable!

Xavier was wearing a blue polo shirt with jeans. I've never seen him wear casual clothes before but he sure looked good in it. That's something with the entire Diamond family. Whatever they wear, they always make it look elegant and fancy.

"Hi Skylar! I'm so excited to get my nails done!!! How do I look? Do I look like a princess?" Natalie asked all happy.

"Oh my goodness Natalie! You look like a beautiful princess! Happy Birthday sweetie! I got you a little present!"

"You did? Thank you thank you! Can I open it right now?"

"How about you wait until the party to open up all your presents?" suggested Xavier. Natalie smiled and nodded her head. Kelly and Austin told me that I can paint Natalie's nails at one of the tables. I got right to it, asking Natalie what color she wanted and what design. Throughout the entire time, some of the family would stop by to see progress, but Xavier was sitting at the table with us.
