FREDERICK, MARYLAND
A yellow car parked in front of the front door of a white two-story home. A young woman got out of the car and walked up to the front porch of the house. She climbed the stairs and knocked on the white door.
A young boy, about her age, opened the door.
-What are you doing here? -he asked.
-I wanted to talk to you.
-About what? About what bad people you are?
-Honey... Forgive me. I did it without thinking.
-Well, you have to think a little bit, you know? -You know?
-I know. -I know. Please... I beg your pardon.
He thought about it.
-All right... -He turned to her. What do you want?
She raised her head and looked him in the eyes.
-I need you to come back to me. -She began to cry. That's all I ask of you... Please come back.
-Okay... -But I want something in return, too.
The girl made a strange grimace.
-What?

The boy parked his car on the side of the road. Inside the car, both of them were looking at the night through the moon of the car.
-What are we doing here? -She asked.
He took a knife out of his back pants pocket and handed it to the girl.
-Take it.
She made a panicked face.
-What is this?
-Didn't you want to come back to me? Prove it to me. You have to kill 3 people, as many as you want. Then I'll think about it.
-What do you mean, you'll think about it? -What do you mean, you'll think about it?
-Do as I ask, and I'll come back to you...
-I won't do that, Clint.
-Then that means you don't love me.
-What are you talking about? -Of course I love you! But I'm not going to kill someone to come back to you.
The boy's face became defiant.
-Do you have something better to do?
She thought it over carefully. Then, distrustful, she grabbed the knife with her left hand while looking shyly into his eyes.
-What do I have to do?
-Three people. As many as you want... That's the only thing.
The girl sighed, looked at him, opened the door of the vehicle and, after thinking it over once she was already out, slammed it shut.

Webb was in his office going through the books on the bookshelf attached to one of the walls. Suddenly, a knock on the door caught his attention. He looked at it and ordered the passage. Bailey entered the room and closed the door as soon as she passed.
Webb: What is it?
Bailey: Do you have a moment?
Webb: Sure! -She put the book she was holding down on the shelf and turned to her friend. Tell me about it.
