DURANT, OKLAHOMA
The sunny day lit up every street in town. Two girls were running along a sandy road on the outskirts. They were hyperventilating and their hearts were beating extremely fast. From time to time, the girl in front would take quick glances at what was behind her.
The two were running faster and faster. In one of the backward glances the first of them gave, she tripped over something she couldn't see and fell to the ground.
The girl behind her came to her aid.
-Are you all right? -She said as she bent down.
-Yes. I tripped over..... -She picked up the object on the floor. What's this?
-It's like a pot, isn't it?
-It looks like it. -He threw it on the floor and touched the bleeding scrape on his knee. Ouch! It stings.
-Aunt... You scared me...
The girl got up and looked at what was on the ground. It was a kind of tomb with pots and containers around it.
-What is all this? -She said, wiping the sand from her hands.
-I don't know. -He took out his phone. But I don't think it should be here....
-It smells funny...
-I'll call the police.... Somebody better check this out...

Elina walked over to Bradley's desk. He was engrossed in reading a book. She sat down on the wood and stared at him. He raised his head.
Elina: What are you reading?
Bradley: A book about the Mandela Effect. Did you know about it?
Elina: I've heard about it. -He closed it and looked at the cover. The Mandela Effect: Analysis of a Worldwide Phenomenon. How strange... You reading about phenomena?
Bradley: Is that irony?
Elina: Completely.
Yoni joined the conversation.
Yoni: What do you do?
Elina: Bradley reading.
Bradley: And Elina won't let me do it.
Elina: Sorry!
Yoni: The Mandela Effect: Analysis of a worldwide phenomenon. I finally see you reading something interesting.
Bradley: What are you implying? -Elina: That I read nothing but garbage?
Yoni: The one you said last week about Nietzsche didn't seem very entertaining? With all due respect to that gentleman.
Bradley: Maybe you should stop with the Martianitos and read some real stuff.
Elina: Until then, I'll read Martianitos.
Yoni and Elina laughed.
Bradley: Are you going to tell me something interesting or do you keep interrupting me with your classist speeches?
Yoni: Come on! But you read a page in 20 seconds.
Bradley: I'm exceeding the average because of you.
Elina: Don't you want to give us a synopsis of the book?
Bradley: The title says it all...
Yoni: But we want you to tell us about it.
Bradley: You read it to yourselves. Maybe it will help you...
