Ifrit raised her head and looked around. She was standing up now. When did that happen?

She was still in the same place as before.

She remembers that that Doctor sent them on a mission and then....

And then.....

...

.....

Something wasn't right.

She glanced around. The world was....still. Completely still.

"What the hell is going on?" She asked to herself.

"You're awake."

The Sarkaz spun around, reaching for her wand but when she realized it wasn't there, she backed away.

"W-who are you?!"

Before her, stood a tall figure cloaked in darkness. Their features were impossible to make out, and they looked like they didn't have a face under that hood.

"Who am I? I see...you are another one of those who do not understand their situation when they awaken."

It felt like this voice was touching a part of her ears that didn't even exist.

'Is this just another weird ass enemy?' Ifrit wondered.

"The hell are you supposed to be? If you come near me, I'll mess you up!" She threatened.

Without her wand to channel her Arts, she really couldn't do much about the destruction that would follow. But who cares?

"Stay your hand, child. There is no need for more violence. I have come to guide you, but I cannot do so if you're not willing to follow."

Guide? What did that mean?

"What are you going on about?" Ifrit asked.

The figure tilted its head to the side.

"Look down."

Without realizing it, her eyes dropped it the ground. She widened her eyes at the sight.

That was her.

She was....standing over....herself?

She could see Saria cradling her. That 'her' had her eyes closed, and was bleeding out onto the ground.

That's right. She remembered now.

Ifrit raised her hand, and she felt a wave of dread wash over her as she realized she could see right through it.

"N-no...what's going on?! What's....what's happening?!" She looked down at the scene again.

Saria wasn't moving.

"Do you understand?"

"Shut up!! Saria-"

As she reached for the girl, her hand passed right through her. She nearly fell over but she managed to keep upright.

She wouldn't cry. She doesn't cry. Crying was for children.

"Why...why can't I touch her?? What's going on?!" She choked out.

She directed her anger towards the figure once more. It had to be some kind of trick from them! That had to be it. There no way she was...

"Child-"

"Damn you!! Go to hell!" She shouted as she lunged at them, attempting to throw a punch out of blind desperation.

The figure disappeared before she hit them, and reappeared a foot away.
