Scouts from Schrade came back to the city with reports of strange weather differences, such as very heavy thunderstorms followed by long droughts. It was a well known fact that Elder Dragons usually bring natural disasters with them. Schrade's researchers were trying to gather evidence of what could be causing these strange weather appearances.
A Nerigante was also spotted near the Elders recess, which meant bad news. Nerigante was another elder dragon that followed and ate other elder dragons and was covered in spikes.
Some of the residents moved to Ozark after the news was announced for they feared something were to attack Schrade.
Alexander was informed of the news and he decided to sent a investigation team to the area where Nerigante was spotted. When they came back, they revealed they saw a large, black figure that resembled A dragon was resting near the volcanic region but it was too hot to get a good look at it and the heat messed up the way you viewed it.
They predicted it might be headed towards Schrade, so Alexander and his army generals came up with a plan to counterattack any monsters that might possibly harm the city or its residents. Scouts would sound a bell at the top of the guard towers if they saw something unusual and the armored soldiers, known as the Paladins, would use cannonfire, Bastille fire, the dragonator, and custom made swords designed to rip into enemys and cause even more damage ripping the weapon out to ward off whatever was threatening Schrade.
And so, The defense plan was ready...
