“If I were you, I think I'd get ready faster than the pace you're going at right now.”
The blunette scoffs, shooting a glare at the musician which made him nervously smile. She had to admit it, Evan did have a point though. It was going to be the first time she and Alec will be meeting his bitch of a manager, she'd rather not make it obvious that she didn't like her. But she had to admit, she was amazed on how that woman managed to book a flight to California the minute the keyboardist told his manager that he already found what she asked for.
Funneh sighs. How did her life get to this point? If you had told her years ago she'd have to pretend to be in a relationship with the two people she had liked since highschool, she'd laugh at you.
It really didn't help that there was already some sort of situationship going on between both her and the redhead before this. Especially when they've both talked about Evan and shit.
What can you say? They just had a lot in common.
“I'll be there in a minute, Ev!” She tells him, smiling to at least ease the mood. Because honestly, she didn't need to make this any harder for Evan when he's already been through enough.
The blueberry takes one of the butterfly clips from Gold's drawer in her vanity before looking back at the mirror. “I just need to touch up a few things with my hair and I should be good to go. You can wait with Alec in the car.” He nods to that, giving that encouraging smile he had always given before walking out of the room.
And finally finishing with her hair, she stared at the mirror, giving herself some pep talk. Okay Funneh, you got this! You're just meeting Evan's manager, no biggie. She'll probably go easy for now since it's the first meet, so no need to be anxious over her making you guys do a publicity stunt of some sorts!
