[Keep in mind each character is from my personal versions of each state/country, along with the fact that countries and states are obviously not actually humans. Please respect my work and of coarse enjoy the book. Also give me feed back on what you would like to see if I decide to continue the series.]
Ohio POV:
I sit on Alabama's bed, Texas is leaning on the closet door, and Cali is sitting crisscross on the floor. "Do any of you know why Al texted us to come here?" Both Texas and Cali shake their heads no. Figures. Not soon after Alabama walks in carrying three leather bound books. "No fucking way." Cali said. "Al is actually reading!" I let out a chuckle. "Haha, guys. How original." Al rolls his eyes before throwing each of us a book. I look at the one that he tossed to me, it has me on the cover and in the background was a factory burning down. The Factory Fire of 1881in Cincinnati. I look at Cali's face and his eyes were filled with tears, looking at the cover I see Cali standing in the middle of a forest, which was of course on fire. I look at Texas and his face looks just as horrified as Cali's. "Alabama..." Texas stars, trying not to cry. "Where... where did you get these?"
Texas POV:
I repeat myself a little more forcefully this time. "I said, where did you get these." A tear rolls down my cheek. On the cover of my book it had a detailed illustration of my father, my original father, and Mexico fighting over my land. I wanted to forget that event, and what happened between my father and dad. I still have cracks on my arms from those things. Alabama begins explaining how he fallowed Aunt Canada into a secret library full of historical things and how on one wall there were 50 books, one for each of us. We all grew quiet before Ohio spoke. "What are these books?" "They're spell books. I think each one is characterized to each of us." "Spell book?" Cali asks hurriedly wiping a tear from his cheek. I caught a glimpse of his book. Of course it's of the forest fires. "Yes, and it's not our basic teleportation and levitation spells. Like mine had an invisibility spell." Ohio opens his book flipping to a page that read Tempus itinerantur, which basically translates to Time Travel. "I guess we'll see if this works." Ohio mutters before reading out the spell. We sit around for a bit. "Well, either this isn't real or-" Before Ohio finished his sentence a bright light flashes. When the light fades we were no longer in Al's room, we were now in an alleyway. I didn't recognize where we were but what I did recognize is Russia. Or a younger version of him? "Guys." Al says. "I think it worked."
