"You know what they say about the first snow of the season, right?"

It was eleven in the morning as the car zoomed across the hilly roads of Jeju, making Jisoo and Jin lightly bounce on the seats at the bumps since they were sitting in the absolute back. They chatted about various events careful not to bring up last night because both of their mothers were sitting in the middle seat of the car.

The car rushed towards a viewpoint which was the first thing to see today and the weather was pretty good. The sun was shining brightly and it was reported that snow might fall today.

As soon as the car entered the city, they could see the people-filled streets of the twenty-fourth of December. The Christmas Eve vibe floated in the air as the car made its way through them. It halted at a place and they were all told to walk a bit to reach the point.

After clicking a few pictures, they walked up the small hill and started going around. Hana, Jisoo and Jin walked up to the edge resting on the artificial wall as they let the scenery sink in. Suddenly Jisoo saw a white drop on her hand as she looked up to see snowfall starting.

The first few minutes were pure happiness to Jisoo as she looked up, grinning like a child and extending her hands trying to catch the snowflakes.

"It is snowing," Hana gasped as Jisoo jumped up joyfully and saw the snowfall increase. She put up her hood and everyone there was cheering. Soon enough the green grass and the bare brown ground were filled with white snow. Jisoo was enjoying it until she fell a snowball hit are back, making her jacket wet.

She turned around to a giggling Hana and Jin and chased after them as they ran away. She picked up some snow throwing it at them. "Yah," she screamed as she ran behind them. "Run faster, shorty," Jin smirked as she silently cursed his long legs.

Jinturned again to tease her but Jisoo was faster as she threw a snowball at him. He tried to dodge it and successfully did it but some bit got into his eyes and it stung instantly.

He held his eye and sat down as Jisoo ran to him, worried. "Oh, I am so sorry," she spoke worriedly as he rubbed his eyes and said, "Man, ice stings." "Technically anything in the eye stings-" Jisoo said but stopped when Jin glared at her with a single eye.

Jisoo put her gloved hand under his eyes as she blew warm air into them desperately trying to wear the pain off Jin felt his face heat up with the sudden proximity. Jisoo's small hands cupped his cheeks as she tried to examine his eye and all of a sudden he felt the urge to pull her into a kiss.

"Looks okay," she exclaimed with a huff as she locked eyes with him and he stayed still looking at her. His eyes shifted between her eyes and lips not caring how other people were just passing by until Hana interrupted them.

"Guys," she screamed as Jisoo awkwardly pushed him off, getting up and brushing the snow off her jeans. "Hey, let's go," Jisoo huffed mentally thanking the scarf that hid her red cheeks.

Jin got up too, and he followed them hoping that none of their parents noticed the small moment between him and Jisoo. But he was assured they didn't know when Hana didn't bring it up, if anybody had noticed it first, it would have been his Hana noona. If she didn't his parents were not even close.

To avoid the awkwardness Jin suddenly declared he would go to their father's car and Jisoo and Hana were told to be in the other car. Jisoo's heart sank suddenly, looking at him getting inside another car as she quietly got in.

Hana slept off feeling tired as Jisoo sat back and huffed. She felt angry at his sudden change of mind and hated how affected she was by that. She never wanted to like him but now it felt like there was no going back.

She plugged in her earphones, listening to some of her favourite songs and trying to forget how Jin was avoiding her now.

She was right. Jin was avoiding her as much as possible. If she walked inside a room, he would make an excuse and walk out. Hana was more confused seeing their behaviour as she tried to figure out which part she had missed. Did they confess? Did they argue? Did they both fall off the stairs and hit their head pretty hard?

The whole evening went by as Hana desperately tried to bring those two together for a game and they would walk off. Finally, she felt happy when two rooms were closed, one for the mothers and the other for their fathers and there was only one room left for them to sit.

"Okay, truth and dare," Hana clapped excitedly adding, "I have been wanting to play this all evening." Jisoo and Jin stayed quiet as they smiled lightly nodding at her and avoiding each other's eyes. "Come on guys, where is the excitement, I don't see it," Hana urged as they laughed out loud at her antics. She truly can brighten up any room.

Jisoo had downloaded an app from which they were getting a truth or dare question and it was getting pretty fun. So far Jisoo had to call Hana's school crush to tell him Jisoo liked him. They had a good laugh over his confused 'what' before hanging up.

It was Jin's turn when suddenly Jisoo said, "I want to ask the question, screw the app." "Okay," Hana laughed as Jin panicked not at all anticipating his turn. He knew Jisoo would ask something about them and he wanted to avoid the topic as much as possible.

Jisoo looked at him directly in the eyes asking, "Why are you avoiding me?"
