"Are you sure your cheek is red just because of the cold?"

Jisoo's question set everything to a standstill as Jin slowly licked his dried-up lips. What would he give as an answer? Because you make my heart explode whenever I am near you? No, not at all.

"The hell you are thinking," Jisoo chuckled sarcastically as he kept quiet and Hana's eyes just rapidly travelled between both of their faces. "Dinner," the hotel boy called since these were those small hilly homestays.

Jisoo rolled her eyes, knowing how Jin would just skip her question and he did. He got up hurriedly muttering, "I am hungry" and left the room while the two girls sat quietly.

"Let's go," Hana softly said, tugging her arms and Jisoo complied with a, "Yes, eonnie." Dinner was not very quiet as their parents laughed loudly at a funny story while Jisoo tried her hardest to not roll her eyes at literally everyone. She felt so annoyed at Jin, that she wanted to throw the table at him and watch him die.

That was harsh, Jisoo thought as she turned her attention to her food again trying to forget about the boy who is now ruining everything.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Jin get up and wash his hands. He went to his room, where the three of them were sitting previously and closed the door.

"Stop rolling your eyes and eat fast and I can hold the parents back and you two can get some alone time by yourselves," Hana said a long sentence before stuffing the Kimchi in her mouth Jisoo nodded at her before saying, "Okay, calm down."

Hana made a gesture for her to eat fast and Jisoo hurriedly swallowed before drinking a glass of water and standing up. She washed her hands and slipped into the room where Jin was sitting.

Jin sat up, surprised, and looked at her as she again rolled her eyes. This boy will be the death of her. Jin smiled awkwardly before saying, "Shouldn't you be in your room?" "You still didn't answer me," Jisoo forced her question out completely ignoring him.

There it was, the question, hanging in the air like it was the most awkward thing ever. As much as Jisoo needed an answer to it, right now she wished she had not asked it. Jin stayed quiet not knowing what to do.

The silence was again cut off when Hana entered and they both got relieved. As much as Jisoo needed an answer she still feared it. Multiple possibilities ran through her head and Bohyun not liking her back was there too. She knew he didn't like her. He still liked his ex, he saw him texting her yesterday too.

"So, shall we continue the truth and dare?" Hana spoke cheerfully instantly brightening up the room. If there was anything best about her, it was her ability to overcome any bad situation.

"Yeah," Jisoo spoke and smiled lightly and Bohyun nodded too. "Okay, I downloaded this other cool app, where we get the questions and do them," Hana replied, her eyes sparkling with mischief as they laughed at her. How was she the oldest?

"Another app?" Jisooo groaned but she was playfully ignored as they started the game.

"Okay noona, let's go," Jin clapped as she snickered and pressed the question button. Up came a dare, of prank calling another person and telling them she was their childhood friend. "Oh damn," she whispered and that was how it went. Jin got a dare of a couple dancing with the person to their left who very conveniently turned out to be Jisoo.

But they danced like some drunk uncles at a wedding party instead of the actual couple dancing. They had a good laugh about it while Hana filmed it saying it was for future purposes.

They were given other truths and dares too but the best was when Hana was told to give a hickey on her hand. "That's easy-easy," Jisoo smirked as Hana replied, "No, a hickey is literally the breaking of superficial veins." "Woah, this needs to be recorded," Jin said pulling out his phone.

"Stop with the biology talk and do it," Jisoo laughed and Hana vigorously nodded her head to a 'no'. How that talk went from hickeys to their kinks nobody knows, all they do know is there was a recording in Jin's open that he kept in his folder safely.

That was going to stir some trouble if found. But they hoped it would never be found because Jin's parents trust him and thus never check his phone. Soon anytime they would be called over to light up the tree and it came, breaking the comfortable silence that had surrounded them after a chaotic game of truth and dare.

They got up to get dressed and the girls went back to their room to change. Jin looked at the door as Jisoo's back disappeared slowly and smiled to himself. She looked way too cute in that fluffy penguin hat and messy braids that complemented her loose woollen pants and hoodie.

She had the most mismatched clothes and the worst style sense ever but that was what Jin loved so much. She did not care about anything when she wanted to feel comfortable. He giggled to himself as he started taking out a proper outfit to wear.

Jisoo went back to her room and opened her suitcase taking out the knee-length red dress she brought. Pairing it up with black net stockings and a maroon coat she opened her hair letting it fall around her shoulder.

Applying red lipstick and some light eyeliner he pulled up her glasses and finally wore a pair of maroon boots she had bought recently. After much contemplation though she decided a red scarf would not hurt that much and tied it around her neck, loosely. She looked really beautiful, her black hair complementing her dress and her shoes.

After her parents were ready too, they all left for the area where the tree would be lit. The three got together again and saw what each of them was wearing. Jisoo gawked at Hana's beautiful baby blue off-shoulder ruffle dress that made her look like a real-life Cinderella. She had paired it with a short fur jacket and her hair was in a loose bun.

As for Jin, he could not take his eyes off Jisoo. The red dress, the hair, and her red lips made him swoon as he felt himself kicking back the insane urge to grab and kiss her right then. Jisoo finally turned her head towards Jin and she felt like time stopping. He had a black suit on, with his hair slightly messed up and revealing his forehead.

Jisoo screamed internally while Hana watched the two amused. Something was about to happen, and she knew it. They walked to the patio and Jisoo slightly shivered as the cold air hit her legs. But that thought soon left her as soon as she saw the fairy light and ornaments that lit up the tree and the whole porch.

Candles were lit as their parents, the few hotel staff and the manager said their prayers. Jisoo exhaled softly, smiling, loving how everything was so peaceful and quiet. Could it be any more perfect?

Suddenly, all thoughts left her mind as she felt a whisper just above her right ear saying, "Kim Jisoo, I like you."
