??? POV:
The sun was shining, birds were chirping and the soft sounds of life was tinkering through the palace. It was peaceful, what I wished for.I was interrupted from my thoughts by the door opening.
"Appa", immediately, a smile formed on my face.
"Hello, my little bear, how are you today?", I asked the child that jumped into my arms.
My daughter, Kim Seo Yul. "I'm good Appa, Eomma said to wake you up so you can have food in your tum tum", I chuckled at her choice of words.
"Really Yul-ah?", I tickled her and she giggled, her little five year old feet tapping the floor as she ran away.
"Don' be late, okay Appa?", she didn't wait for an answer, running off.
I just hope she doesn't trip over her hanbok.
I stood up, walking into the bathroom to take a shower. After, I dried up and got dressed just as someone entered my room.
"Good morning King", I rolled my eyes. "What do you want?", she huffed.
"Is that a way to greet your mother?", I rolled my eyes again.
"Mother, hah, more like monster", I bit back, fixing my hanbok.
"I have no time for this nonsense", she said, sitting on the bench in the room.
"I came here to talk to you", she began and I kept a blank face, knowing what this was about.
"When are you going to give us a grandson?, you know you need an heir and I and your father are not getting any younger", she ranted just as I finished wearing my shoes.
I walked out and she followed me, having the sense to close the room door.
"You do know I will give you a grandson when Yu Ji is ready right?", I spoke, fanning myself as my second hand was behind my back, my shoes clicking and echoing through the hall.
"And when is that, she's not ready even after five years?", she asked and I came to a stop, making her stop as well.
"Marriage is not all about love making, mother and I am a King, I have duties to attend to and my wife is a Queen, she has duties to attend to as well, when we are ready, you will get your grandchild", I walked away, going down the hall and into the dining room, leaving his mother who stood there fuming.
"I shall get my grandchild, no matter what it takes", she put on a fake smile and walked into the dining room.

Jeongguk smiled at his wife who was playing by the fountain in the middle of the compound of the palace. She looked so pretty in her black and gold hanbok, her hair in a very high ponytail to avoid it trailing on the ground.
She was putting her hands in the water and removing it, giggling as the water would give her a distorted reflection.
He smiled at her when she skipped over to him.
"Ggukie, do you have any spare coins?", he smiled and nodded. "How many do you want?", he asked and she smiled.
"Three". "Wait here, okay?", he said and she nodded.
He went to their hanok and Taehyung continued playing with the water.
She heard the palace gates open and she looked up.
She saw three women entering with the Queen.
They were dressed lavishly and threw their bags at the poor maids who could do nothing but bow.
