First Date

I hope you all enjoy this new book! This is a human au of TMNT where Mikey's dating Casey! I think it's gonna be adorable!

"Can we go yet, love?" Mikey asked eagerly. He was wearing a sporty shirt with sleeves that had hearts. He even had teddy bear shoes! Mikey loved teddy bears, which is why he and Casey were going to  Build-A-Bear for their date today. 

Mikey and Casey have been dating for about a month and today, they were going on their first official date! They both agreed on Build-A-Bear because it was one of Mikey's favorite places and Casey loved seeing Mikey so happy. 

"Yep, I'm ready!" Casey replied, finishing with his hair. Both of them were dressed pretty casually today because this was going to be a fun dare and they were both casual in general. "Yay, let's go!" Mikey cheered excitedly. 

He really loved Build-A-Bear! 

Casey chuckled and took his boyfriend's hand. The couple was planning on walking there, because it wasn't far. Mikey held Casey's hands as they headed out. Mikey was humming to himself happily.

"What kind of bear are you gonna make, baby?" Mikey asked Casey. "I haven't decided yet, but I know you'll pick something adorable." Casey kissed Mikey gently as the boy giggled.

Mikey was a bit shorter than Casey, which made it easier for the hockey player to kiss Mikey's forehead. They walked together hand-in-hand down the street. Mikey couldn't contain his excitement and was skipping along as Casey laughed.

"Aw, you're adorable when you're so excited, honey!" Mikey beamed at his boyfriend. "And you're adorable anytime!" He nuzzled Casey who awed again.

Casey smiled, pulling the shorter boy close to him. Mikey's blonde hair was in his eyes so Casey gently brushed it away. Both of them had freckles on their cheeks.

Casey used to hate his feckless until he met Mikey. Then, he decided freckles were pretty cute. 

Soon, the boys arrived at Build-A-Bear and went inside. Mikey immediately squealed at all the broght colors and different teddy bears. Casey awed, cuddling Mikey close. It warmed his heart to see Mikey so happy. 

They walked over to the teddy bears and looked at the different ones.  Mikey chose a rainbow teddy bear and Casey grabbed a hockey player teddy bear. It even had a hockey stick and a puck! "Sweet!" Casey smiled.

"Mine is so colorful!" Mikey added. Casey chuckled, patting Mikey's head. "I knew you'd pick something adorable, sunshine." Mikey laughed. "And I knew you'd pick something hockey related babe!"

They both laughed and went to the sound station to pick a sound for the bears. Mikey chose one that would make the bear say 'I love you' And Casey got one that made his bear sing a song he liked.

"Hey Casey?" Mikey spoke up. "Yes, Mikestar?" Mikey pressed the button that said 'I love you'. Casey awed. "I love you too, you sweetheart!" Mikey smiled happily.

Once the sound chips were picked out, the couple held hands and walked to the scent station. Mikey immediately chose an orange scent which he loved. Casey picked out strawberry. Now, they needed to stuff the bears. 

How stuffing the bears worked was they took turns stepping on a peddle while a worker stuffed the bear. As soon as both were stuffed, Mikey and Casey added plush hearts into their bears. The plushies were then sewed up. 

Mikey smiled and hugged his bear as Casey hugged his as well. He leaned over and kissed Mikey's cheek. "Now, we fluff them!' Mikey said as he was an expert at this place since he came a lot. "Okay, you can show me what to do!" Casey grinned.

Both of them took a brush and brushed their bears to make them soft and fluffy. Mikey made his extra fluffy! "Perfect!" He cheered. Casey finished his. "Do we dress them up now, baby?" Mikey nodded happily. "That's the best part!"

They headed over to the clothing and accessories. There was so much to choose from! Mikey put his bear in a pair of overalls with a rainbow on them, cute fuzzy shoes, and a hat that was tye-dye. 

"That looks adorable, honey!" Casey commented. "Thanks boo!" Mikey replied as Casey desssed his bear in a hockey outfit with some tennis shoes and a black cap. He even added some light up shoes. 

"Aww, so cute!" Mikey beamed. "Thanks!" Casey hugged Mikey who cuddled him close. "We gotta make the certificates now." They went to the computer. Casey went first as he named his bear Zipper. Mikey named his Rainbow. They then added their named and ages. 

Finally, Casey and Mikey purchased their bears. "That was actually fun, I see why you love Build-A-Bear so much!" Casey wrapped his arms around Mikey as they walked home. "I love it!" They held their teddy bears close.

Mikey kissed Casey. "Thanks for coming here, love!" Casey awed, kissing back. "No problem, baby, I love seeing you so happy!" He hugged Mikey close as they cuddled into each other for a bit with their teddy bears. 

Mikey's eyed were glimmering from how happy he was and Casey loved it! He'd do anything to keep his boyfriend happy. Mikey was adorable when he was happy. Well, he was adorable all the time, actually. 

The couple held each other close as they walked home together. "This was a great first date!" Mikey beamed. "Agreed!" Casey smiled, nuzzling Mikey. Mikey giggled and stroked his lover's messy dark hair.

They couldn't wait for the next one!
