RAFE' S POV

I rushed back to my car and drove as fast as I could to Y/N' s house, when I got there she was sitting at the porch with her head in her hands

"Y/N my love" she looked up at me

Her eyes were red and puffy, and her face was swollen, she definitely has been crying for a while, also her clothes were soaked, she was wearing the dress that I gave to her on her birthday and it fitted her perfectly

"Go away Rafe" her voice was shaky and it broke me "I don't want to talk to you"

"Love please" I said "I know I fucked up and I'm feeling terrible, I'm so sorry I forgot our anniversary, but I promise that I will make it up to you, just please give me another chance"

"You think that's it?" She asked me with a type of sarcasm in her voice "That you would come here, apologize for forgetting our anniversary, say that you would make it up to me and that I would simply forgive you and come running back to you?"

"Y/N I just forgot about an anniversary" I was getting angry "And now I'm here willing to make it up to you, while you give a cold shoulder, just because I forgot about a date"

"Just an anniversary" she mumbled "Ouch"

"No love, fuck, sorry" shit "That's not what I meant"

"That's exactly what you meant" she yelled "You don't give a damn about our relationship, you know how many dates you have bailed on me just this last month, ten dates Rafe, just ten and to add to that you completely forgot about the plans for our one year anniversary that we have been planning for months, so you don't have the right to say I'm dramatic, when for this last month I'm pretty sure I was dating myself, since my so called boyfriend could remember to go out with his friends, but couldn't remember the plans that he made with his girlfriend, well now, ex girlfriend"

I was at a loss of words, I knew I had forgotten a few dates, but I didn't have in mind that I did all of this

"Baby please don't do this" I was pretty sure I was crying too and also the rain wasn't helping "Just give me one last chance, that's all I'm asking you, I screwed everything up, I know, and I also know that lately I have been a terribly boyfriend and that I don't deserve you, you're just too perfect for me, but I love you, more than I have ever loved someone, so please just give me one last chance to prove myself to you and come to my house tonight at seven to have dinner with me"

"I'm not sure Rafe, you really hurt me" she started "But I will think about it"

"Let's do this then" I said "You don't have to tell me that you're coming, I'll prepare everything, if you show up I will take it that you gave me a chance and are willing to talk, although, if you don't show up, I'll will understand that we're and that you don't want me anymore, ok?"

She simply nodded

Y/N' S POV

As Rafe left I debated on whether going or not to his dinner, he made me really upset, but at the same time I still loved him and wasn't going to forget about him anytime soon

Fuck, why is this so hard

I went inside, took a shower and got into my robe

I picked a really fancy dress, my pijamas and laid them on my bed. I stood there staring at them for a good couple of minutes, hoping that I would make the right choice
