I woke up to my mother entering my room.

"Good morning my dear!" She called as she placed a breakfast tray on my lap "Lets go over today's schedule, shall we dear?"

She didn't even give me a chance to answer before she started listing all of the things I was supposed to be doing today.

"Right after you finish breakfast, you'll have a relaxing shower, with the help of Marie and the staff, then you'll head to your last fitting, to check if everything about the dress is to your liking, and then you'll have lunch." She continued "After lunch I've granted you a half an hour break for you to clear your head and prepare yourself, and once that time is over, Marie will take you to your room, where the hair and make-up will be waiting for you. Got it dear?"

"Yes, mother," I answered her, while still trying to digest everything I was supposed to do today."

"Then what are you waiting for?"she asked "Hurry up, finish that breakfast and hop in the shower, chop-chop."

Hours were going by like minutes today.

And the more I dreaded the time of the wedding, the faster it seemed to approach.

Sooner than I had expected, the day was already halfway through and it was finally time for my break. It was kind of a shock to me, that my mother had granted me this free period, I imagined that she would be acting twice as bad as she was today. I guess this was her weird and twisted way of apologizing for putting me in the middle of this agreement.

As I was taking a stroll around the garden, I noticed some commotion towards our guests house, which was rather weird, considering that my parents didn't tell me we had visitors staying over.

The people inside the house seemed to be caught up in the middle of a very heated argument, judging by the tone of their voice, which was so loud that I could hear some muffled shouts all the way over here.

Suddenly, the front door swung open and a rather tall blond guy stormed out as I quickly hid behind the bushes.

"Rafe," an older man called the guy "if you're not back in twenty minutes to start getting ready, you can forget everything that we talked about."

'Rafe' the name echoed inside my head 'Oh, and I almost forgot, the details regarding your honeymoon you can discuss with Rafe whenever you want, just let us know' I recalled my father saying.

Holy shit! He was Rafe Cameron, the man I'm supposed to marry in less than four hours, and this was my chance to talk to him.

I quickly got out of my hiding spot and rushed towards the direction that Rafe had just gone.

After strolling around my backyard for a few minutes, I finally stopped the blond. He was throwing rocks at the lake with his back facing me.

"You're Rafe, right?" He turned to face me.

"Yeah, that's me." His voice was low and he looked quite annoyed. "What the hell do you want?"

Rude.

"Nothing actually." My desire to talk and get to know him for a bit disappeared due to his rudeness.

Here rolled his eyes at me and went back to what he was doing before I arrived.

That went good.

"Great! You're back!" My mother called, "The crew is already here, let's get you ready."

Mother ushered me to our beauty room (A/N - yes, they have a beauty room at home), which was filled with hair stylists, make-up artists, reporters and photographers.

And that's how I spent the afternoon, getting ready and answering questions regarding my wedding and how in love I am with my lovely fiancé.

The photographer had just finished with the pictures when my mother entered the room.

"Oh my," she started, "you look gorgeous my dear."

She ran her hand through my left side

"You look like an angel sweetie!" I could see tears forming in her eyes. "You are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen."

"Mother please don't cry." I was feeling rather emotional, considering the circumstances. "You'll ruin your makeup."

"You're completely right dear." She slightly wiped the tears. "Let's save the crying for when you're walking down the aisle."

She kissed me good luck and made her way to her seat.

Soon I could hear the beginning of a song and I knew this was the song that Rafe was supposed to be entering with, signaling that this was my queue to go downstairs and wait with my father until it was time.

From my bedroom window, I could see as our guests arrived and made their way towards their assigned seats.

I recognized some faces from family and friends, but there was also some people I had never seen in my entire life, probably Rafe's guests.

Quicker than I had expected, my assistant came to get me, saying it was finally the time for me to walk down the aisle.

When I got downstairs, my father was already waiting for me behind the door - the one that was supposed to open once my song started playing.

"Dearest, I know that this is not the best time for us to talk about this," my father started to say, "but I just want you to know that I'm very proud of you for taking this giant and significant step to help daddy's business."

I opened my mouth to say something to him, but I was cut short by the sound of the classic wedding song that filled the place.

And before I could process anything, father was placing a kiss on my forehead and handing me to Rafe.
