'Just Another Love Story'

Chapter 22

From the moment the 2 had woken up from the moment they reenter their room, they were both acting very weird.

That morning, when the set alarm went off Tenya found that indeed Akamine did not know when he actually got cuddled up against him. That morning, Akamine found Tenya practically being a koala against his side. That morning, they had the strangest whipsering arguement about men that not even the smartest person on the planet could explain. That morning, the hate between both of them had disappeared to go off and find a lovely couple to destroy.

During the training, Tenya was acting so weird that he was given at least 5 checkups throughout it. Everyone would ask if he was ok and he would say he's fine but everytime they did the pitch in his voice was different. All that was running through Tenya's mind was what he decided to do, crawling into bed with someone like it was totally normal.

During training, Akamine seemed to be fine, but when asked to explain the behaviour of Tenya, his pitch everytime was different too. Akamine was calm on the outside but the inside was just about chaos.

Both of them together, during the training, that was what really got people confused.

They didn't act like they hated each other, but if to describe it, it was like Tenya being Izuku and Akamine being Katsuki. Everyone felt like they were watching a horror show as they witnessed the entire day, seeing as the 2 were being very very weird.

After training though, that is when things were finally explained.

"It has been some time since we've had a normal conversation." Akamine sips some of his Coca-Cola, looking directly at the person across from him in the empty space.

"Indeed it has, now tell me, why are you here?" Ishihara questions his beloved friend, sipping tea.

"So, I slept with a guy-"

"YOU WHAT?!" he spits out his tea, putting down the cup he had in his hands. He took a moment to catch himself. "Hold on, you came to me that you slept with a guy. A guy! Like abs and a *beep*?"

"Not like that idiot!" Ishihara was going to be the end of him. "I was sleeping and at some random time during the night he just got up from his and cuddled next to me in mine!"

"That is so gay, I'm suprised you kept your cool about it."

"He isn't even gay Ishi!" Ok, now Akamine's gay was showing, which has been closeted for a good while. "He is a straight, uptight, politician, rule following, man who happened to crawl in bed with me while I was sleeping!"

"Oh my gosh, that is even worse." Ishi has the most relatable face, giving Akamine a crazy look. "Not the straights!"

"*beep* how many times do I have to remind you that you are straight?"

"I know, plus, you have gotten to be way out of my league." Ishi comments, knowing how much of a weirdo he actually is. "Unless you got that big *beep*."

"I am done!" Akamine walks out of there, leavig the Coca-Cola behind since his appetite for it disappeared. He could no longer deal with him amd he still has to walk back to the facility their class is staying in.

Meanwhile with Tenya, he was having the exact same problem.

"Iida, you slept with a guy?" Ochako was stunned to the words said earlier, double checking she wasn't hallucinating. "Like, slept with a guy?"

"Not in the dirty sense, oh my gosh!" Tenya hits himself with a pillow, face red as a freaking tomato. Why couldn't people just assume things were as what they were?

"So, hold on. You are telling us that because you couldn't sleep, you let your body get get up and just waltz into his bed?" Momo questions. She was good friends with Tenya, but she could still not hear this right.

"Why did you just not do it?" Shoto asks, opening a bag of Doritos and eating the chips inside.

"I don't know?!" Tenya was so panicked, and very red faced. He was basically dying rigt now, not sure from exactly what though.

"Iida-kun, just know that you would've already been dead if he actually was going to kill you." Izuku points out, much worth the mention.

"Besides that, at least you guys talked about the matter, right?" Everyone in the room looks at him, we waits a good moment before shaking his head no.

"Then get to it, kero!" Tsu was very much right, this had to be fixed because it was really stupid.

The sudden knock on the door proved it was time, the minute it opening revealing a certain someone that there was problems with.

"We should go." Ochako says, getting everyone so they could let the 2 talk about the stuff. Everyone dragged themselves away, hoping everything would turn back to normal.

The 2 just didn't talk for a good while, deciding to mind their own business. It wasn't until Tenya spoke up, when things changed.

"I'm sorry." He said those words which made the other stop with what he was doing. Tenya couldn't dare to face Akamine and just continued with where he was. "I'm sorry I put myself into your life, I'm sorry I asked about yoyr life and I'm sorry for all that has happened from the day we got here!"

"Iida-"

"-no, listen. I regret everything because I feel like I messed up, I failed to do the right thing in life. Because of the stupid things I decided to do for myself, I ended up here! I can't live with myself knowing what I did but all I'm asking is for you to forget that, to start over!" Tears were escaping himself, working their way down his face and dropping to the floor. "I'm sorry, for all of it. Please, I want a restart."

Akamine was right in front of him now, not hugging him, not feeling sorry, he was just standing there.

"Iida, I can't forgive you."

"What?" Tenya was lost, he just went on a rampage just to ask for a restart and he's being told he isn't getting one. "I don't understand-"

"-sorry isn't going to cut it, it's not going to do anything." Tenya just stood there, listening even though he didn't wamt to. "If you want me to forgive you, you are going to have to do something better than that."

Akamine walked off, stepping on some random wrapper.

"Why the *beep* are there Doritos on the floor?" Akamine picks up the bag, not knowing who they were from. He throws it out and heads for the door. "I'll be back, I'm getting food."

After the door quietly shut, Tenya wasn't sure what to do. What was he suppose to do in order to get a real apology across to him so that he coukd start over from this madness?

As much as Akamine wanted to forgive Tenya right on the spot, he couldn't. Akamine was told too many times that sorry was something that can't heal big wounds, that sometimes doing nothing is what works. Akamine knew Tenya was sorry, but accepting it was the hardest thing Akamine could do in life.

Both of them, they couldn't accept each other yet. Their time to start over though, was coming to rise like the sun.

Basic summary for those who decided to skip the entire chapter:
Both Akamine and Tenya weren't reallt too sure about what happened that night and ended up talking to their friends about it. It then leads to Tenya apologising about all that has happen from the beginning of their hate to right that moment but Akamine doesn't accept it. Tenya was told he needs something better for Akamine to forgive him meanwhile, Akamine didn't want to accept the apology because he thinks it will hurt him more than helping.
