'Just Another Love Story'

Chapter 38

"Miss me?" Tenya hears right as he answered, again, since his phone died on call with him and had to scramble to find the charging cord because it fell behind his nightstand.

"Not a single bit." He responds, definitly lying. He was muttering to himself how he was going to die if he didn't find that charging cord moments ago. "What is going on over there?"

"Nothing of much importance, Todoroki keeps hitting walls he's so dizzy." Katsuki and Shoto took up the oppertunity, which Akamine loved yet hated at the same time. "I feel like you miss me though?"

"I do not!"

"You called me Sunday night, Monday, Tuesday and now Today. You have a problem." Every day, everyone has so far watched him bolt to the elevator just to talk to him, yesterday accidently tripping on the way.

"I do not have a problem wih calling you every day."

"Yet why do I still pick up then?" Something crashes on Akamine's line, then all Temya can hear are the sounds of indefinite screaming. "I should probably hang up though before I have no choice but to do so?"

"Why?" Tenya goes to pull out his homework for the day, placing it so he can get to work right after.

"Todoroki and Bakugo are doing something that is either going to get them both killed or everyone else." Did Tenya want to know what exactly? No, no he did not. Akamine told him anyway. "I think I should get them out of that room with all the rubber ducks."

"Rubber ducks?"

"Yeah, you heard me, rubber ducks." Tenya thought that was pretty odd, but decided not to ask anyway. "Holy *beep*! I actually have to go though, they are now fist fighting."

"I'm very suprised you would stop them." Tenya realizes how out of character it is for Akamine to do that thing.

"If I don't stop them now, no one else in the building can."

"You have a point."

Akamine full on hung up on Tenya, which the boy practically expected. So, he went straight to soing his homework, but got interrupted only a good while after by the knock on the door.

"Come in!" Opening the door was Ochako Uraraka, but with her was both Tsuyu Asui and Izuku Midoriya.

"We need to talk." Was all the bubbly girl said, confusing Tenya very much and making him stop with what he was doing.

"Is there something wrong?" Tenya is pretty sure he hasn't done anything wrong to upset his friends, but the faces they are giving him are stating otherwise. "Did I do something wrong to you guys?"

"I don't think he gets it, ribbit." Tsu looks at her friends.

"Get what?"

"You're obsessed!" Ochako states.

"WHAT?!" it was suprising both Izuku and Tenya said it at the same time, yet the greenette knew Ochako was going to say it anyway. Tenya tried to deny, "What are you even talking about? I'm not obsessed with anything!"

"Are you sure about that Iida-kun?" Izuku sounded panicked whike he said that, which meant the freckled boy needed to calm down. Tenya on the other hand, he was still very confused.

"Yes, I don't have an obsession over anything!"

"Then what is going on between you and Sora?" Ochako questions, knowing she had enough of this 'I don't know' nonsense. "When you're around him you are like a completely different person! Face it, you are pratically in love with him!"

Tenya was pretty sure she was lying, he wasn't obsessed with Akamine, not even in love with him!

"Uraraka-san has a point." Izuku starts to say. "It's not that I don't mind seeing you happy like that or anything, it's just, you're still saying you 2 are friends but you seem closer than that."

"We like seeing you happy Iida-kun, kero." Tsu tells him, meanwhile the boy is still very much silent. "We are just trying to look out for you, ribbit."

"That is why we are being good friends." Ochako hugs him, even thouh Tenya still has no idea what basically just happened. "Don't over think it. "

The 3 say their goodbyes before leaving the room, Tenya sitting there silently, not sure what happened.

"I'm not in love with him." He talks to himself aloud, turning back to do his homework.

Meanwhile with Akamine, Kimiko isn't really letting it down either.

"Come on, there is some chemistry happening!" Kimiko tells Akamine as she follows him, while the boy was only trying to get away. "I can't believe you aren't noticing anything!"

"What is there to notice?" Akamine enters another room, Kimiko still follows.

"Every time he calls you, your eyes just give this glimmer of happiness somehow." Akamine opens a file cabniet, not really listening. "I know you said you weren't the same person you were but I think you are straight up lying to yourself right now. I can see how happy you are right now, every moment you talk to him."

"Why does this topic matter to you?" Akamine grabs what he needs, planning to head out once more.

"Because, I've been waiting forever to give you this." She pulls out something from her pocket, who knows how long. "But, you can't open it yet."

"Then why give it to me now?"

"Because I want you to think about what I said, cause that letter can only be opened once you find 'it' again."

That night, he stared at the little envelope in his hands. He didn't recognize who's handwriting it was that spelled out his name on the front, and the seal that kept it shut was a symbol he had never seen before.

Why was it so important for him to find love? What did that have to do with this letter in the first place? Who gave Kimiko this letter to give to him?

He knew he would get answers for it one day, but those answers seemed to only be miles away from where he was now.

He just didn't realize, he was much closer than he was when she first got the letter.

Guys, if any of you have seen season 6 of MHA, i just wanted to tell you all that in my opinion, I JUST CAN'T EVEN WITH THIS RIGHT NOW!

I can't handle it, the season is too much. Yet, it is so amazing, so much drama that was doomed to happen, and of course, Endeavor asking for forgivness (which I cannot accept just yet).
