I heard a faint scream that made my heart skip a beat. It was a scream that no child should ever hear.

The voice sounded so familiar, like it was my mom's.

"Mommy," I called out above a whisper. "Is that you?"

I heard more commotion as if more than one person was in the room downstairs.

"She's not here, man," I heard Daddy say to whom ever, he was to speak to.

Next thing I knew, I heard Daddy scream out in pain, as I gasped lowly.

"I know your lyin' Aden," A deep voice spoke. "Where the fuck is that little bitch" The man yelled so loud, I covered my ears.

"Your crazy to think I'd easily give up info' to where my baby girl is," Daddy chuckled in an evil way.

I heard a sound as if the guy pistol whipped Daddy. Mommy screamed in horror, as tears blinded my vision.

"You owe me money A," The man spoke in hatred. "How else am I going to get it if I don't pay your daughter a visit."

"You will never touch my baby" Mommy screamed at him.

The man chuckled, but this time, as if he was actually amused by Mommy saying that. "Bullshit"
