It's me and I'm back finally, I know its been like a long time. Bout a month or two, but I'm back! I have been having writers block for the longest, but I finally pushed through and got this chapter done. It's long, but not that long. Some parts are sad, some parts are happy, but most of all, I just want everybody to make sure you take everything from this chapter and kinda get this special persons situation in the book and how he/she has evolved since that time. They will be special people appearing in this book, starting now! So make sure you get used to all the new faces! Thanks for reading!

Omniscient.

It had been three months since the incident, a new year had begun and everyone was distant. Aaliyah birthday had passed, she was now twenty years old. Of course they had thrown a party for her, but to her it just wasn't the same. But everyone had fun, including her, and all their worries went out the door as they danced, ate, and talked like a big happy family and Aaliyah was sad to see it go as she knew the next day would just be the same. Now, she considered herself as an well young adult with a good future ahead of her. She was now applying for colleges, she hadn't gotten any call yet, she was just patiently waiting and hoping someone would accept her and hoped she didn't wait too long.

Pac and her relationship went south after the incident, and so did Lisa and her relationship, but they were family so they'd bounce back like nothing ever happened, so the only thing and person she was worried about was Tupac. Of course he was worried about her too, he just didn't know how to show it because he couldn't believe she had done such a thing and thought about suicide without talking to him first, although he did understand her reasoning's, he just couldn't exactly see why. Whenever him and her were in the same room, it was like they didn't connect, they hadn't even really touched, looked, talked to each other like how they used to. It was like something died in the both of them.

He was always in the room in the far back of the house where you couldn't hear anything really. She knew he'd just be in their chilling, listening to music, and just clearing his head because it was his clear spot.

Sighing, Aaliyah looked out the window as the woman began to ask her more questions that she didn't want to answer, but she knew she had to because that was what she was here for.

"How did you cope after your parents passed away?" The lady asked, whose name was Angelica.

Aaliyah shrugged. "Most of the time I just dealed with it, convinced myself that they were dead and never coming back, and the rest is history."

Angelica nodded, writing it down in her writing pad. "Can you explain what you mean by convincing yourself?"

"I called their phone numbers, waiting for my Moms sweet voice to be heard on the other side of the line, or my Dads amazing voice as I could just imagine him smiling through the phone cause he was proud of his baby girl. Listened to music, waiting for my Mom head to pop out, and her joining in as I sang her favorite songs. And I wrote, wrote how I felt everyday and personal notes to them to tell them how I was doing and things like that, how I used to after school when they used to ask me how my day went." Aaliyah explained as her lips trembled, but she dared not cry.

"What was your escape of thinking about them? Escape from life itself? What'd you do?" She asked her another question.

"I could never stop thinking about them, but my escape was always music and dancing. Something about the two of those things just made me feel alive again." Aaliyah answered truthfully.

Angelica nodded, also writing that down. "You still miss them right?"

Aaliyah made a face as she thought, What type of fucking question is that?
