NOTE: I know it has been quite some time since I last updated, but I am back and I am better than ever! I have to be honest with you guys, its been a tough year for me. I just recently, about a couple weeks ago, lost my GG, great grandmother, who meant the entire world to me. She was actually the one who inspired me to write, she'd always read to me when I had came over to visit her on a Sunday dinner. Her stories was so amazing, I even used some to write this book. She told me about her old husband, and the love they shared, stories of how they didn't like each other when they first met. But somehow it worked between the two, and they got married. That inspired me to write about Tupac's and Aaliyah's relationship in the beginning. Ya'll know they couldn't stand each other! But she is in a better place now, no more hurt or pain. I'll be writing for not only you guys, me, but her too. Along with that, school has been a pain in the bumbum. Just can't wait for this break, and I can write more and sleep as long as I please! Anyways, thanks for reading!

Aaliyah.

I continuously played with the rings on my fingers as both Tupac and Kadafi talked about how life how's been going, and how hard it was to be in jail for so long. It was going on four in the morning, and I couldn't sleep, so I just stayed with them and watched how they talked and showed a lot of love that has been missed out some of the years.

Tupac rubbed his fingers through my hair as I laid my head on his lap and stretched my legs out on the long couch because I was growing tired by the minute and Pac knew how to soothe me into going to sleep.

Kadafi smiled at the both of us and smirked. "How long have y'all been together and how come I didn't know until now?"

Tupac shook his head. "Yaki, I told you that day when we were on the phone. I told you everything about her. We been dating since around that time, so for about a year and a half."

Kadafi nodded his head, and took a sip from his beer. "I know. Just wanted to know if you remembered. "

I smiled a little, and Tupac cracked a smile too.

Silence took over again, and I closed my eyes and took a breath. Tupac rubbed my back as I shut my eyes fully closed because they wouldn't stay closed, then I just opened them and watched how Kadafi looked at the TV and smiled at some of the parts and laughed. He is quite an handsome young man, but not as much as my baby though.

"Kadafi?" I called out to him.

"Wassup?"

"What happened? Between Lisa and you, of course."

Of course I already knew what happened, but only from her point of view and I wanted to know his. Because maybe everything was all a big mistake and misunderstanding, and it probably didn't go down like how Lisa pictured it to go down.

He sighed, and stroked his bread. "Man, a lot happened. You wouldn't understand, shit. I don't even myself."

"I forgot how young we was, we was probably like twelve, thirteen, or fourteen, older maybe. Shit I don't know. But me and her both had problems at home, and that's what made us come together as a pack. One day, we made a promise to each other that we'd never leave each other and that we'd runaway one night. When that night came, a lot of shit happened. I-I went and robbed an old man for some money to get me and her on our feet when we did actually runaway that night. But something happened, some guy walked in on me stealing from the old man and he tried to catch me but I ran, I was trying to find my way back home when a police officer called upon me and then I started to run more and more. I remembered I got to Lisa's house, and ran to the side of her house where her room window was, but.. I heard something I didn't want to hear. I heard her screaming my name, for me to help her and she was screaming that it hurted, and someone was basically taking advantage of her. Of course I knew who it was. I couldn't believe my Lisa was getting raped." He took a pause and wiped his eyes, continuing. "So, I started screaming her name and silence took over when I heard the police officer scream at me and before I could run, he grabbed me. As I was getting put in the police car. I saw my mother on the porch crying as she was screaming my name, followed by neighbors doing the same. I saw Lisa mom on the step just watching smoking a cigar, as Lisa stepfather laughed at the scene. I screamed at him for doing what he did. It was crazy. To end the whole story, I did some strong time. Because when I got out of juvenile, I got in some more trouble. I was also lost and hurt when I found out Lisa had moved away with her other side of the family."
