SUMMARY.
The Gaunts. A name that held such importance... such power. Most do a double-take when they hear the name, some even flinch for one main reason. It's the family Tom Riddle came from. Morana Irina Gaunt kept the expectations of her family name very high as she was taught to do. She studied the dark arts heavily as she was told, she never befriend anyone who wasn't a pureblood or held a low status as she was told, and she held a similar reputation to her uncle, Tom Riddle, as she was told. Being a descendant from the great line of Salazar Slytherin, meant there were expectations. In layman's terms, Morana was being trained to uphold the legacy of her family name whilst conflicted between the light and darkness. Although, she doesn't seem to be the only one feeling conflicted. Regulus Black, the boy she's been best friends with and crushing on since her very first day at Hogwarts was also struggling to find where he belonged. Now in her fifth year, as the dark lord rises to power, tough decisions must be made; Morana and Regulus need to pick a side, and they needs to find out where their loyalty truly lies. Out of everything Morana has learned throughout her years, it is that in this world, she lives by one and one rule only. Kill or be killed.
Or, in which, Morana Gaunt and Regulus Black try to find where they belong all in the midst of their beautiful, tragic love story.
