SUMMARY.
Spoiled rich kids run the world. At least that's what Gotham City thought whenever they saw billionaire Bruce Wayne and his fiancé Tessandra Fauntleroy strutting about the city. Bruce and Tess ran the city, literally. But not with hatred and crime as others did, with vigilantism and money. As much as everyone envied them, no one could deny how thankful they were to the King and Queen of Gotham. But under all that money, power, and glory sat a broken boy who lost his way of life and an angered girl trying to hold onto everything she held near and dear. Tess and Bruce's families had always partnered up together on projects and trades since they both were conglomerate companies. Together, their companies were at their peaks, they were the elite. That's how the little king and queen met. After her father died in a plane crash when she was 23, Tessandra inherited her father's shares in the multimillion-dollar company known as Fauntleroy Industries. Turning to her childhood friend for guidance, Tess and Bruce worked a lot together even if he wasn't working at Wayne Enterprises. They were always together no matter what they were doing and one thing led to another which is how they got engaged. Some might say it was just for their companies or for the fame but those closest to them could see all the love and admiration the two had for one another. Both Bruce and Tessandra had their problems, yes, but when Bruce drops off the face of the Earth, their love is put to the test from there on forward. With new and old enemies coming to haunt them, their perfect lives begin to crack. Gotham is put through hell as it gains two new vigilantes and so many villains to follow yet faith in their king and queen never wavered but somehow, everyone failed to notice the melting flames in their souls, struggling not to go out. Let's see who'll burn out first.
Or, in which, Bruce Wayne and Tessandra Fauntleroy struggle under the weight of carrying Gotham City and all of its problems on their shoulders.
