Gab examined my get-up. I felt a little embarrassed but managed to hide it with a smile.

He shook his head out of amazement. "Wow you look fantastic!"

I put a hair behind my ear before replying, "I get that a lot." We shared a laugh.

He somehow noticed that I was searching the place and said, "Looking for Adam?"

"How is he?" I said without showing my concern and teased, "Got into trouble again?"

Gab pulled a serious but concerned face, "Actually, he is spending all of his time at work."

Sensing the concern in Gab's voice, I asked, "Good thing or a bad thing?"

Gab scratch his flawless chin in deep thought. "Good in a way that he no longers get into trouble but he's kind of overdoing it. He's in his office if you want to talk."

I considered his suggestion with a nod and a pout. Kelsey. I remembered.

"He's really into Kelsey, huh?"

Gab cringed. "How'd you know about her?"

Oops. I slipped. I guessed I need to tell him why.

I cleared my throat, "Well, I heard Adam say her name the night I took him to Garden Luciana Hotel." Gab let out a smile and I took it as a misunderstanding. "Please don't tell him that. He don't remember me, so there's no need for that, I mean," I protest.

Am I being obvious?  I just don't want Adam to know that I did some undressing. Well, it was only his polo shirt. But still.

"So you already know the reason why Adam is acting so devastated. Anyway, what are you here for?" Shifting the topic and no longer wanting to get deeper with Kelsey.

"Not for Adam. That's for sure." He laughed.

"We're auditing your company. See if there's something fishy." I continued squinting my eyes as if I'm spying at someone.

"So you're an auditor. Wow. Good luck with that," Gab laughed but then got called by the nurse. "Hey visit Adam if you can. Alright?" He patted my shoulder then went ahead.

Since I'm already here, I went to Adam's office. I guessed we'll be seeing each other more than I expected these coming months.

I knocked. "Hello?"

I turned the doorknob and the door flung open. I helped myself in.

"Hello?" I repeated. Oh. Nobody's here. A call.

"Hey Kat. Where art thou?" Reiny was on the line.

I snorted. "What was that? I'm in one of the offices," I said walking and looking around the place.

"Which one?" She replied with such anticipation and enthusiasm.

"Why?" I cringed and stopped at the window overseeing the skyscrapers.

"You don't happen to be in the ophthalmologist office, right?" I can see the wide smile in her face.

"OMG! I actually am in the place you're referring!" I boost up my enthusiasm and heard Reiny sqealing in excitement on the other line.

"Geez, what's up?" My sarcasm finally disappeared.

"He's so handsome!"

"Who's handsome?" I put away the phone from my ear temporarily because Reiny was already shrieking.

"Could you please take a photo with the doctor?

"Take a photo with whom?" I cringed. "No. I'm not here for that."
