How Amusing!

Screams of people riding extreme rides. Cotton candies. Lots of helium balloons. Long queus whether in rides or in food stands. Souvenirs displayed. Kids running everywhere. Couples flirting anywhere.

This is it! Happy Paradise! I've been wanting to go here but Tandige is far from here. And I wanted to prove myself that I can conquer my second fear, next to darkness, HEIGHTS.

"You are already enjoying yourself, huh?" Adam looked at me but I was still fascinated that I am already here. I just nod but my eyes are fixed on the roller coaster.

"Wanna ride that first?" He asked as he noticed what I am looking at.

"It's too extreme. Let's try the mild ones first." I said with a full smile.

We rode the Dizzy Circle. It's like a giant circular hanger. And instead of clips, swings are hanging around. The ride then goes on a circle that makes us go in circles. It feels like flying. On a sitting position and our body in horizontals. It made me dizzy but Adam yelled from behind that I should just look from afar. It really did the trick. It was relaxing. And boy, did I want to ride it again. But there are still a lot to try!

Next stop, trampoline jumping at Up Up and Away! At first, I was way too hesitant to try it. But a 10-year old rode it and she was laughing all throughout! That was a relief. Up next, me and Adam. Yup, we can jump by two. It was kind of embarassing knowing that a 10-year old can do that alone and why can't I. But spare me, it can go for how many feet from the ground!

We were falling in line but Adam was nowhere when I turned around. The kid was preparing to unbuckle and it will be my turn.

Where is he? I am already panicking inside.

"Here you go. Don't move."

"Wait. What?"

Adam went to a store to buy me a clip to tie my hair. And he did it himself. Though it was a little bit unfixed it made me blushed.

I turned to face him. "So that you can see the view without anything obscuring it."

I smiled. As if I could open my eyes during the ride.

---

"Ready?" Adam said with all the excitement from his voice. Well, I cannot tell from his face since my eyes are closed.

"Hmm mmm." I hummed my replied.

He laughed. "Common, open your eyes!" I ignored him. "Let's jump!" He said a loud.

The first few jumps didn't made us go that high. Shit, I am already trembling! While he was constantly laughing. Ugh.

"Higher!" Yelled by a stranger who is falling in line.

"Let's give them a show, then." Adam suggested. I grip Adam's both hands tighter. Yes, we are in that position. Face-to-face and we are holding each other's hands.

"You're here to enjoy, Kat! Open your eyes. Don't worry, I won't let you go."

I won't let you go. Those words suddenly calmed down my insides. It was more than an assurance that nothing bad will happen.

I nod, then started to open my eyes... slowly.

I can see a smile. His smile. His perfect smile revealing his pearly white teeth. It made me smile, too.

Then I saw his face. Looking at me. We burst out laughing. It was as if everything was in slow motion. His laugh was so pleasing to my ears. We went up and down. Then suddenly, I turned to see the place. It was perfect! I can see a vendor holding lots of colorful balloons! People enjoying themselves. Food stands everywhere. We where on the peak of our jump and all I could think of is to stop the time. Be like this forever. Forever in his arms.
