My First and Last

Hi Five

January. New year, new client.

The weather is wonderful and the five of us decided to have a lunch date after watching a movie. Sorry, but since we, girls, outnumbered the guys, we had the opportunity to choose. But, what are friends for? We do also give the guys the chance to pick especially when all choices are romantice ones. For today, we opted for a romantic one, again. A Tagalog one with the most famous loveteam in the country as the lead stars.

After buying some popcorn and soda we went in. Our arrangement starting from the farthest left is Dexter, Alyssa, Reiny, me, and Jonathan. I really planned to be seated in the middle for me to have access to a more abundant supply of popcorn.

Before the movie starts, Dexter is busy with his phone looking at the PSE page while Alyssa is on her full interest in talking about the movie with Reiny. Alyssa is so into love. She's been in a lot of heartaches before and if you want some love advice, she's the perfect person. Reiny, on the other hand, is busy retouching her make-up. After getting some love advice from Alyssa, you'll need some perfect make-overs. Reiny is effortlessly fashionable. She is also a fashion blogger and went to different runway shows. If she will one day be a model, I will surely be her number one fan.

Jonathan, is minding his usual problem. The vacant seat beside him is taken by his most hatred specie, a girl. Well, Jonathan do not hate all girls, only those that gets all high when he's around. The girl started to laughed with her friends. Soon, they are already taking pictures. I'm loving how Jonathan reacts to them. So shy. He just put on his hoodie to cover his face and slouch on his seat.

"You know, I am much willing to help you," Jonathan looked at me, "Babe," I winked at him. Pretending to be his girlfriend has been our show to free Jonathan from his curse. Being handsome sure has a disadvantage side to it. Jonathan sat straight and enveloped me with his left arm. Now he is facing me and even leaned closer.

The movie started and the girls stopped bugging him. My popcorn box was already running empty so I invaded Jonathan's.

Our fingers touched but instead of removing mine, we had a finger fight. We laughed and the person behind us sssh-ed us to silence. Jonathan gave in and we shared in his box.

After, we got out of the cinema. Jonathan and I walked together with his arm around my shoulder, Dexter still got a just-woke-up look. Obviously, he didn't watched the entire film and just slept. Alyssa is still weeping even though the ending was not tragic, and Reiny is weeping with her but only making sounds since she cannot afford ruining her make-up.

Next, we had lunch. The boys had the chance to pick this time. An eat-all-you-can restaurant. They even had plus-sized snacks like burgers, shawarma, and pizzas. We feast and even Reiny who is watching over her figure so much didn't bother to calculate her calorie intake.

We also toured a little in Kasiyan. Their parks and other to-see sites. Of course, we didn't miss the opportunity to use the sites as perfect backgrounds for our instagram posts. Taking pictures and fooling around are our specialty. We need to do all the fun stuff before our long work days begin. Of course, having such friends with me never makes my work dreadful.

Day turned to night and we are still worked up. We went to a karaoke bar and released our inner golden voices. Actually, only Alyssa is gifted on that part. And Jonathan too. We laughed as Dexter gave us a number. A Taylot Swift song. "Dude, never thought you're into TS songs!" Jonathan yelled over his singing.

Then we ate at a Japanese restaurant. I'm very ecxited whenever we are in such restaurants. It's been my childhood dream to go to Japan. The culture is just so pure and interesting. And to see the sakura bloosom is on top of my bucket list. Next to trying horrifying rides and adventure that is.

Such a wonderful time with wonderful people. A fun-filled day, indeed.

Weeks have passed since the last time I saw Dr. Adam Falcasantos.

Today, we're at our client's. Morgan Hospital. It's the largest in the city. With its all-white and tinted glass look and ten thousand capacity makes is worthy for the title.

With my black pencil skirt, light pink ruffled sleeveless blouse covered with my carnation pink blazer, I roamed around the place. At the curve, I saw a familiar face. Gab. He turned and waved at me. After his talk with a nurse he walked towards me with his ever day-brightening smile.
