Bzz! Bzz! Bzz!

I inhaled sharply and stretched my arms. Grabbing my purple phone that was protected by a clear case. Basic, yes. But I have a few stickers on my phone like the moon, and a few characters from multiple anime. I rubbed my eyes so they could easily adjust to my phone's sun rays.

8:30 am

"Oh shit."

I must have slept through my alarm because I was definitely supposed to wake up at 6:00 and not two and a half hours later!

Margaux came over last night right before stars out in the dorms to help brainstorm our ideas of a good human persuasion without using charms. (We just have floating orbs in the hallway which are our "stars", and they dim out when it's time for curfew. Curfew is just for the stars because they use so much energy every day so it's easier for them to have a curfew every night) But before I get distracted by our lovely quirks, I needed to head over to Mrs. Fois with Margaux. Now.

Makeup is a burden but a cute burden. Sometimes when I wake up and feel prettier than normal, I put on glitter eyeshadow and lipstick; which today is one of those days. I finish my makeup by fixing my eyebrows. As long as they're sisters, I cannot make them twins for the life of me. Now I start on my hair leaving my bangs out with a few side pieces and pin the rest of my hair behind my ears. I stand up to get dressed and put on one of the school's cute uniforms for witches which was a plaid eggplant purple skirt with black thigh highs underneath. I looped a black and silver belt around my skirt, then pulled over and tucked in my black t-shirt with the school's insignia on the left shoulder and over the right breast. I forgot to take off my jewelry yesterday so now I'm ready to run.

If I could perfect my spell of teleportation without the immense pain and out-of-body feeling then I would use that. But, I've been a little stressed with finals and the Magicals Ball to finish perfecting my spells. What I need to focus on now is perfecting this paper so I can impress Desmond's ego of 1000 gods which in return could give me more recognition. Maybe I'll even impress myself with this speech if I can keep my emotions under wraps. Hopefully, I'll also be on time for the speech because Ms. Fois is not a forgiving woman. Especially if she knows that I'm lacking effort.

In this time of need, I'm glad I remember a spell that adds a little kick to your step.

"A kick of speed is in need when the time is dire with a plea."

My stardiddas began to loosely flex. I ran faster across the soccer field to the staff and teachers' building. It was nice that students and staff were separated but in times like this it kind of dragged. I swung the door open to the building, climbed the first set of stairs, and kept to the right to Mrs. Fois's office.

9:07 am

Shit. Two hours will dock her attitude with me.

Luckily when I walked in, Margaux was already seated and scrolling through the paper I sent her at the ass crack of dawn.

"Ah, Miss Sterling. I was starting to wonder if your bed had a meeting with you this morning- the same time as my own."

"Miss Thistle has already proposed your rough draft." Mrs. Fois spoke not glancing over from her illucon. Getting comfortable in the chair next to my friend, I looked over to see her fixing the paragraph that we spewed out while watching Twilight with Julia.

"Is it qualified to read in front of a human crowd?" The dullies is more of a relaxed term but still not appropriate in front of elders. Ms. Fois especially, is an avid pro-human advocator.
