Walking out of the washroom while wiping his face Manik ducks when a pillow was throw towards him. He looks up and picked the pillow up and looks at Cabir who chuckles and smirks holding his hand up.
Manik rolls his eyes up and throw pillow at Cabir who pulls Dhruv in front of him and the pillow hits Dhruv's face who winced in pain because of the force and fell back ok Cabir's chest who laughs out loudly.
Manik shaking his head two of his idiots friend moves to couch and picks his laptop placing it on his lap and starts working for sometime because there is few hours sill left for mendhi function to start.
Cabir pushing Dhruv jumps out of bed and looks at at his best friend who is going to be married with few days is bothered about his work not the wedding.
He made his way towards Manik and snatched the laptop away looks at Manik who looked shocked.
Manik : what the heck Cabir? What did you do? I was reading one of the important emails. Give me the laptop back otherwise I would murder in such way no one will be able to find your body for days.
Cabir : what the heck is wrong with you Manik? How could you be sitting here and doing your office works when you were supposed to give a break and enjoy your own wedding? Does Neyoinka aunty know about you carrying your laptop? Forget about my murder, she will murder you if she finds out.
Manik rolls his eyes and was about to reply Cabir but stopped when his room opens revealing angry Neyoinka who stood at there with her arms folded and glancing at Manik marched inside the room.
Neyoinka : Manik? What am I seeing? You are not ready yet? Cabir why isn't he ready yet? All of the guest have starts arriving and the groom is no where to be found. What is this? I didn't expect this from you. Cabir I didn't send you for this. I told you to check on him and bring him down.
Manik looks at his mother who bursting into anger. He stood up and glances at Cabir who was going to expose him but he didn't want his mother bursting on him so he tried to cover up. He looks at Dhruv who also jumps out and stood next to Neyoinka.
Manik : mom! I was about to get ready before they came and starts arguing with me. I will go and get ready. It won't take much time to get ready.
He passed a smile to her and walks past her only to be pulled back. He looks confused and looks at Neyoinka who raised her hand and slaps his head.
Neyoinka: you are not old enough to fool me Manik. You may be getting married but don't forget I am your mother and I very well know your antics. Why is Cabir holding your laptop? Most importantly how did the laptop come in the room? Didn't I warm you that your laptop should stay out of my sight?
Cabir smirks and winks at Manik who gulps down and tried coming up with excuses but couldn't form a words to which Cabir took opportunity and thought to expose his best friend in best way.
Cabir : anuty. Manik brought the laptop with him and thought of working because our Manik baba doesn't seem anything else than his work. He lied to you. He wasn't going to get ready but checking his emails because he thought he had some much time.
Manik palms his face and cursed Cabir in his head whereas Neyoinka looks at Manik and starts scolding before snatching the laptop from Cabir's hand.
Neyoinka: you will not get the laptop back till the wedding is over. Your laptop will stay with me. I am not going to hear any excuses from you Manik. Go and get ready. And you both keep eye on him.
Cabir and Dhruv nodded their head looking at Neyoinka and Neyoinka glancing at Manik one more time storms away from there not before glaring him.
Once Neyoinka was sight out of Manik's eyes he starts hitting Cabir who chuckles loudly in return.
