The Unexpected...

I walked through the door to see everyone sitting around our small cramped table. This hardly ever happens. Last time we all sat like this was when my grand mama died. I hoped this wasn't the case.

  "Please sit down dear, we have some things to discuss with you", said my Aunt.

My mind started racing as I thought of all the possibilities as to what they needed to talk to ME about. I took a seat next to Theodore.

     "What's wrong?", I asked.

   "It's about your mum sweetheart".

I automatically wished I hadn't sat down. This was anything but good, and I could feel it.

    "What about my parents?"

  "I thought it was about time I told you what happened".

  "Okay.."

"It was a long time ago and you were so very little.."

Everyone excused themselves as they felt they were intruding.

"You and your mum lived in a cottage out in the country where she thought you would be safe from the outside world at least for a little while...but she was wrong. Your house was raided. By witches."

  "By witches?!", I nearly yelled.
"Have you gone bloody mental!?"

"Please settle down dear and don't shout. As I was saying, your house was raided and destroyed. You mum escaped with not only her life but yours as well, or you would not be here today.
She fled and left you here, then ran off because she thought it would be safer for you. She has never been seen again... until recently. She was spotted walking down St. Potter street towards the fields near Patrick's old place. I tried to get a hold of her but I can't get through. I just thought you should know the full story, in case she decides to show up."

   "YOU THOUGHT I SHOULD KNOW!! AFTER ALL THIS TIME OF MY ASKING YOU ABOUT IT, NOW YOU DECIDE TO TELL ME!!!! BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT I SHOULD KNOW??" I screamed at her. After all this time, just because she was POSSIBLY spotted she tells me.
I storm up to my bedroom that was currently empty and slammed the door. How could my life get any worse??
