Blast of nostalgia.
(And some other stuff)

(I severely recommend you read the FF.NET version as it updates faster, and for some reason italics and bold don't translate to Wattpad when I copy and paste it, so you will be very confused with thoughts and A/N)

My mind was in shambles as I was awoken by the bright sun, my body no longer in pain nor were there explosions and nowhere was my beloved Pokémon.

I instantly scanned my surroundings but nothing was there, it was quiet and peaceful. A rush of nostalgia roared through my body as I knew exactly what this was...

"This is route 204!"

My hometown was Jubilife city in the region of Sinnoh and I remembered sneaking out with Sven to train and play on this very route.

I observed my surroundings in astonishment, I could interact with everything perfectly and my body felt natural and it didn't seem like I was some kind of spirit.

Suddenly from the bushes a riolu popped out and clung to my shoulder, "Sven?" I asked the riolu who happily nodded, awaiting me.

"Nick, It's time for lunch!" I heard a familiar female voice said, it sounded like the person was annoyed.

"Ah shi-"

"There you are!" The female voice shouted as she appeared, she wore some summer clothing t and with her was a gliding Gligar.

"You gotta stop running away out to the woods, the Pokémon here may be friendly but it is still dangerous!" She scolded, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic at the venom behind her words.

I haven't seen this version of her in such a long time, she still has the same personality but her looks have changed.

This is Janice Kirese, a worker at the Pokémon daycare I used to live in. She is 5 years older than me and has been working here ever since the age of 16..

"Now bring that riolu of yours and follow along." She said before jumping through some bushes and dodging some tree branches.

From the look of things when I died I went back in time to when I first started doing Pokémon training.

"Does that mean I will likely never see the same Pokémon again aside from Sven?"

I felt saddened by that fact, I had grown an deep attachment to my Pokémon. I remember how adorable Skye was, how tough Kore tried to act and how gentle yet powerful Titanica was and how much Loki messed with her. Loki was so mischievous and sly...I visibly remember him stealing food and other items he liked.

Yet I will likely never meet them again, the same Pokémon that was with me through crazy battles, hardships and formed a deep bond with me.

But I couldn't just lay around and not pursue the path of a Pokémon trainer...

"This time I won't make so many mistakes, I will be more ambitious, more skilled and I will be a better trainer!"

"Oi, you've been awfully quiet for a while now." Janice said, "we've already arrived."

I hastily regained my composure and simply nodded as I watched her take off her cowboy hat and place it on the table.

I looked around, nostalgia dousing itself in my brain as I saw the familiar setup, lamps plopped around and a backyard full of baby Pokémon.

"Here's some curry." She said before giving me a plate of curry, a wave of nostalgia clicked inside of my brain as I remembered the delicious curry that Janice made.

"Stop staring at it and eat the food!" She ordered, "I am sure both Ren and I have taught you better manners than that."

"Calm down Janice, it is his birthday after all" A soothing voice said as from one of the rooms a young boy, around the age of Janice appeared.
