NEVEAH MONROE
WORD COUNT: 1729 WORDS
ENJOY!

I swore that I wouldn't involve myself with Azure again. I promised myself. I planned on going through with said plan.

I ended up failing. Well, I didn't fail it exactly, since yes, I didn't hang out with her or involve myself with her in any sorts. The thing was, when I thought that I wouldn't have to see Azure besides that first class, it would be for real.

My dorm had conjoined bathrooms. The way the building and dorm rooms were set up, was that it would be a dorm, shared bathroom, then another dorm.

Azure and I had walked in opposite directions after we had our awkward interaction of riding the elevator together. I thought that would be the end of things. Once again, the universe hates me. Not only do I have a class with Azure, and we live in the same dorm room building, but now we live side by side!

Could this get any better?

After I had woken up from my nap by my alarm, I had grabbed my shower basket and my towel, going to the conjoined bathroom. When I walked in, I saw Azure. She was looking in the mirror, fixing her hair.

It seemed like she hadn't seen me yet. God do I hate today. I don't want to sound dramatic or anything, but what the hell was going on? These interactions were something I didn't want, yet they kept happening.

I scoffed. I was irritated; by both this and everything else that happened today. I must've scoffed loud, because the second I did it, Azure faced me. She raised her eyebrow at my presence.

It seemed like she didn't like this either, or at least I thought she did. To be honest, I don't know what she was feeling, or what she thought. She just stared at me. I stared at her back, the two of us just looking at one another.

I had been the first to look away. I placed my towel on the hook next to the shower. I side eyed her, to see if she had still been looking at me. She was. She had been caught staring, and she quickly looked away.

"Um.." I began. It was a weak attempt on trying to get her attention, but it worked. "I'm going to take a shower."

"So why are you telling me?" Azure says. It was rude, like how she used to speak.

"Because I'm about to get naked Azure." I say, rolling my eyes. I stare at her, folding my arms. "Are you going to watch? Or stand outside so I can get undressed and hop in."

Azure looked at me. I could tell she was annoyed by this. She clicked her tongue, looking down at me. "Hurry up princess. Call out for me when your done."
