I wake up and run to the bathroom. I empty everything on my stomach.  My head is pounding.
Why did I drink so much? There's a knock on the door.

Beau: Ella, are you ok?

Ella: Yea, just getting rid of all the alcohol from last night.

Beau: Do you need anything?

Ella: No, I'm fine. Thank you.

Beau: I'll go make you some coffee.

Ella: That would be great!

I brush my teeth and walk back in the bedroom. I grab my sunglasses and head downstairs.

Beau: Hey, are you ok? Do you want anything to eat?

Ella: I'm super hungover, but I'll live and no, I couldn't possibly think about food right now.

I hear Tommy on the front porch. He's just talking away.

Ella: I wonder who he's talking to?

Beau: I don't have a clue.

That's when I hear her voice.

Ella: SHIT!

Beau: What's going on?

Ella: Just follow me.

I walk out the front door.

Elizabeth: I was wondering when I would see you.

Ella: What are you doing here?

Elizabeth: Now, is that anyway to talk to your mother? Come here, I've missed you.

I walk over and hug her.

Elizabeth: Ella! You smell like a distillery. What in the hell!

Ella: Mom, please don't yell. My head is pounding.

Elizabeth:  So you're hungover? This is the same way I left you back home, what have you been doing out here?

Why does she have to cause a scene? Especially when my head feels like its going to explode.
I think Beau can sense my frustration, so he jumps in.

Beau:  Hi, you're Elizabeth. It's nice to finally meet you. I'm Beau McCarter.

She shakes his hand.
Elizabeth: Wow, you look so much like John.

Beau: I hear that a lot.

She turns back to me.

Elizabeth: Do you have your things ready?

Ella: For what?

Elizabeth: Have you not spoke with your sister?

Ella: I haven't checked my phone.
