After that day you and Kuina kinda stuck together, the both you you grew on each other and to even make it better the two of you were literally a perfect team.
Totally opposite, she was much better at the physical games and you were much better with mental and emotional games, which means she was spades and clubs while you were better at hearts and diamond.
Spades were physically, clubs were balance, diamonds were intelligence, and hearts were emotional.
A perfect team, which was also why the two of you made it as far as you did both of you acknowledged that which meant there were little to no problems with your friendship.
You both respected one another and that had truly gotten you both a long way in these games and with your friendship.

Weeks had passed and the two of you were slowly but surely getting through fall these games.
Everything became so much easier when the two do you finally found The Beach. It was pretty great honestly, they had a nonstop party going, rooms for the residents, a bar, and free food.
Currently you and Kuina were using your visa days but, recently she had started to begin acting strange, and you noticed no matter how much she tried to hide it, you just hoped she wasn't turning on you..

People walked back in there swimwear and sandals and Hawaiian shirts, of course it was dress code at The Beach, so you and kuina were also in your swimsuits and Hawaiian shirts.
When suddenly two strangers walked up to the two you, they were both beaten up pretty badly so it wasn't hard to figure out that they were newcomers.
"Sorry to disturb you, but i was wondering if you could help us miss."
The male said shyly as he bowed down in front of you.
"No need to be so formal, please have a seat."
You reached your hand over to the empty seats that were in front of you and Kuina, The boy and the girl both sat down.
"Do you need medical attention? It seems like the two of you really gotten beaten up."
The boy shook his head then proceeded to Ask where the could find the owner of the establishment, while Kuina sipped on her drink when you groaned at the sight of Niragi and his goons approaching.
Kuina watched everything from her sunglasses, she looked at you then you looked back at her..
"Well, bellow there beautiful."
Niragi said as he walked up behind you with his hand slowly caressing your shoulder. You jerked your body away from him and crossed your arms while you a disgusting face appeared on your face.
"What Niragi."
Coldly. He grinned from ear to ear, as he walked and twirled around your body being the creep he is.
"How could you be so cold to your loving boyfriend hm?"
You looked the boy up and down and cringed.
"Ex-boyfriend."
He smiled and chuckled softly as he whispered into your ear.
"You know you still love me baby."
You took a step back and giggled to yourself at how delusional the boy was.
"If that helps your dick get hard."
You rolled your eyes then looked back to the newcomers who were still seeking help.
"Ah, well who is your friend y/n?"
He was referring to the female newcomer who looked extremely uncomfortable and confused at once. She watched closely at Niragi, rightfully doing so, he was a very wild card and there was no telling what he'd do next.
"Bring the new girl."
As the large men with guns grabbed the girl the boy foolishly attempted to stop them when without even seconds later he fell to the floor from being hit in the face with the back of a machine gun.
"Arisu!"
The girl yelled as she tried to pull out of the large men's grip unsuccessfully she continued to squirm free.
"Let the girl go Niragi."
The crowd had broke into two and between came. The Hatter and his gunmen, Niragi gave Hatter the 'stank' face and snapped his fingers, the girl fell to the floor next to Arisu.
"Arisu, Usagi, and Kuina... with me please."
Your head quickly snapped back to Kuina who you looked at with the facial expression of shock and genuine confusion. She gave you that "uh oh" look and without a word she followed the Hatter..

Hours had passed and you went back to your room and paced around angrily at your best friend.
"How could she not tell me?!"
You paced and paced and paced some more the anger just would not die down, Kuina had never keep a secret from you, maybe you felt as if you were making a something out of nothing, maybe she was planning something..
But the more you thought about it the more it angered you.. her strange behavior, her 'late night walks', and now.. HATTER? Everyone at The Beach knows he is a powerful man, what could she possibly be doing?
You decide that you were going to carefully let things play out and see if something was truly going on..

After Hours on end, you waited by a door that lead to Hatter's office where the council and a few others were having a meeting, you knew Kuina was in there with the newcomers..
And eventually Kuina walked out the door, but your eyes could not believe who she walked out with...
"Hm, well look at this.."
"Why the FUCK are you with HIM?"
