"Wha-.."

You couldn't believe who was standing next to Kuina.. She was genuinely confused at how the hell you could possibly know-

" Chishiya."

The same smug grin appeared on his face it made you wanna just hit him in the jaw right here right now.

"Well hello to you to, y/n."

You frowned at looked over to Kuina who was still confused she looked over to Chishiya who was still smiling while you avoided eye contact with him with your ears crossed..

She continued to look back and forth between the two of you.

"So are neither one of you going to explain how you know each other?"

Chishiya stepped closer to you making your body tense up, of course he noticed but he could only smirk at you.

"Yea, y/n how do we know each other hm?

You pushed him away from you and walked way, as you yelled.

"I don't know him."

You walked away and disappeared down the hall, Kuina looked over to Chishiya who watched as you walked away, and she definitely noticed how you looked flustered around him, how he had gotten ten times more cockier than usual even tho she didn't think he could.

And she definitely noticed how he stared at your ass while you walked away.

"I think she does know you. Would you care to tell me how?"

She nudged his arm and raised her eyebrows in a playful way. Chishiya looked to her then he began to walk she immediately followed, she was pretty focused on figuring out how you two knew each other.

"Doesn't matter."

She groaned and slightly pouted but was far from giving up.

"C'mon on tell me."

She pleaded and begged but he was not budging at all, it was that he didn't want to tell her, he just felt as if it was his place to tell. This man had secrets no doubt but you or your time together definitely was not one.

"Ask her, isn't she your best friend and whatnot?"

"Fine, i'll ask her but if she doesn't tell me I will be back to bug you about it."

He shrugged and Kuina ran off to find you..
...

You sat there laid out on your bed as you screamed into your pillow.

"Shuntaro?! Seriously?! How did he even get here?? Why is he here?? What the fuck!!!"

Kuina was at your door she heard you pacing angrily and yelling to yourself.

She then quietly knocked at the door, you sighed and took a deep breath, answering the door you looked at Kuina and sighed while you step aside letting her in.

"Y/n.. I won't pressure you into talking about it.. but how is it that you know Chishiya?"

You sat down on your bed and sighed, you rest your head into your hands and the tears you had secretly been hiding just began to fall.

All those emotions you thought you locked away came flooding to the surface, then it just hit you..

"He's my ex, but.. from the real world.. we were together for a while.. until we just weren't."

Kuina was confused, yet again she tilted her to the side and pulled you in for a hug.

"We don't have to talk about it now if you don't want-"

You shook your head and sniffled.

"No it's fine, it's something i've needed to get off my chest. I don't know... with him everything was pretty much perfect. We went to medical school together and even graduated together.. I was his nurse at the Tokyo Hospital."

Kuina smiled and pat your head.

"Medical school wow that's super impressive."

Her little attempt to lighten the mood, it made you smile because you put everything i to getting there.. you wanted to save lives..

"We had this patient he was only a child.. he needed a transplant and was due for surgery tomorrow... it was simple procedure and the surgery was going to save the boy's life, well that's what we thought. Right after the boy and his mother was promised everything was going to be okay some rich guy demanded that everyone else be postponed, and he donated millions to the hospital, meaning to boy would die.. Chishiya and I both agreed that it was wrong so.. he went and talked to the board and they shut him down immediately..."

Kuina had no idea she placed her hands around you and hugged you tightly and comforted you.

"His hands were tied and there was nothing else any of us could do... The boy died the day of the surgery.. Chishiya and I had to watch as the boy's mother cried her heart out in the lobby... begging, crying, and screaming for her son to come back.. After that Chishiya and I had just went downhill from there and one day while I was out... he was gone.. all of his things were gone as if he just disappeared, the next day at work people said he had requested to be transferred to a different hospital that was hours away... I had never seen him again til just now."

Kuina was absolutely shocked, and she also began to feel guilty about pressing the issue but she knew there had to be more than just him leaving. There had to be and she truly believed that..

"Do you think you'll get past that?"

You shrugged your shoulders and sighed once more, you genuinely weren't sure.."
