"i took a few years off to support my mom and get myself in the right mental state..i was such a mess when he passed away" minho explained, "i had so much time with him a-and i wasted it.."

jisung hugged him, kissing the top of his head every now and then, "i wish i'd told him that i loved him.."

"i'm sure he knew you loved him min..he was your dad, he had to know" jisung caressed his cheek, "he loved you right?"

minho nodded, "did he ever say it to you?" he shook his head, "exactly, you know he loved you even though he never told you"

"you didn't waste your time love, he passed away knowing how much you cared for him" jisung smiled at him, "he would be so proud of you"

minho frowned, those words always made him cry, "i'm sure your parents are proud of you too sungie.."

"oh they definitely aren't..i haven't talked to them in years" jisung admitted, "but that's a conversation for another day"

"you should talk to them sung..i don't want you to make the same mistakes as i did.." minho said.

"hm.." the brunette wiped minhos tears, "you did well min, i know this probably wasn't easy to talk about but you did so well"

minho loved when jisung comforted him like this, "and you don't need to worry about me not talking to my parents okay? i'll figure something out.."

"thank you for always being so patient with me ji.." he smiled at him, "thank you for being such a supportive boyfriend.."

jisung smirked, "boyfriend? so we're boyfriends now" his face lit up, "when did this happen?"

"when i kissed you yesterday..did i forget to tell you?" he asked and the brunette nodded, "well i'm telling you now, we're boyfriends"

jisung leaned in and kissed his boyfriend.

"hey mom..how are you?" he sat on his bed and put his phone on speaker.

"i'm good dear but why did you call at this time? is everything okay?" she asked, worried that something bad had happened"

"yeah yeah everything's okay..things are perfect" he smiled to himself, "i um wanted to tell you something"

"go ahead minho" she said, he smiled again when he heard the meows of his cats in the background.

"so um..you know how i've always liked guys.." he didn't know why he was nervous, he'd come out to his parents years ago.

she laughed, "yes minho i know you like guys, did you really call me at 12am to come out to me again?"

"no no, that's not what this is about" he laughed awkwardly, "i have a boyfriend..his name is jisung"

"jisung?" she repeated, "he has a nice name, how did you meet him?"

"oh uh we both study the same thing.." he lied, there was no way he was telling his mom that he was dating his professor, "he's really sweet"

"i'm so happy for you min, it's about time you got into a relationship!" his mom joked, "but seriously minho, i'd love to meet him"

"next time i visit, i'll ask him to come with me" minho was so happy, "i love you mom"

"i love you too, now go to sleep! it's so late.." she scolded him.

minho ended the call and got into bed, today had been a good day.
