Mook's ears twitched.
"Mook, Mook!"
A voice that he hadn't heard in years. Mook quickly turned around, hoping it wasn't an illusion.
"Moook!"
A fairy-like girl was running towards him, waving her hand excitedly.
Although she had a slight change in appearance, he could easily recognize her anywhere. The way she talked, the way she flew around like a ball of energy, the way she clumsily made mistakes every now and then...
His first and only love.
"Aru!" he smiled, catching her as she dove at him.
She hugged him tightly. "I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too."
