I love it when I'm with you.

(Tomioka's POV)

I woke up from my nap to find myself alone. Iguro wasn't there any more. How cruel... I stood up from my futon, folded it and then put it in the closet. I also grabbed my uniform from the closet and changed clothes. I then exited my estate and walked around to find Iguro.

I managed to find him, standing in the middle of nowhere looking as if he was deep in thought. Just when I was about to approach Iguro, both my crow and Iguro's crow approached us. "CAW CAW!! Good morning!! there will be a hashira meeting today so please come to the demon corps immediately!! your presence is a must!" Our crows shouted.

Iguro then saw me and approached me. "Let's go together." Iguro said. I nodded and then Iguro held my hand.. I felt so hot.. We both ran to the headquarters and arrived early, only Shinazugawa, Tokito, Himejima and Uzui were there. "Oh hello you two! It's a bit strange for both of you to come together holding hands isnt it?" Uzui exclaimed. Iguro stared at our hands with a surprised look on his face and let go immediately. "I-I didn't know-! Sorry Tomioka.." Iguro apologized.

"It's okay." I nodded. A few minutes pass and all the Hashiras had arrived. The Ubuyashiki twins had arrived by then. "Good morning everyone. Oyakata-Sama is not feeling a bit well right now but we had been informed to tell you all that you can have a break from killing demons for a week. Oyakata-Sama had noticed there's been less cases of demons as of now. Have fun everyone." The twins said as they started to close the door.

We all then stood up and started to talk to eachother, I was still right beside Iguro and he didn't say anything else about the break. Rengoku saw us and then approached us. "Hello Obanai! Hello Tomioka! I heard theres a festival tonight! All of us Hashiras should definitely go!" Rengoku happily shouted.

I stared down at the small figure beside me, I'll only come if Iguro wants to go. Rengoku stood there staring at the both of us as he was waiting for a response. Iguro then stared at me and gave me the 'You answer him.' look. It seemed as if he was fine with anything I say. "Sure.." I answered.

Rengoku suddenly burst up in happiness and waved us goodbye. "You think this is a good idea?" Iguro asked, looking up at me. "I'm fine with it as long as you are." I told him. He turned away all of a sudden surprised or something. "I-I see.. We should get ready then.." Iguro told me. He then departed from me, I was the only one left around here so I went back home.

I opened my closet to find any clothes that will make me look decent at the festival. I should use the one Tsutako made for our father. (IDK MUCH AB HIS BACK STORY OK?) I began taking off my uniform and haori, which I then replaced with the yukata Tsutako had made for our father.

It looked normal on me.. Looks a bit old but its good enough. I then called my crow to guide me to the festival and eventually I arrived. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who brought a blade to the festival.. Us Hashira's might be on a break but still. It's important to be cautious. I only found Uzui, Kanroji, Kocho, Shinazugawa and Tokitou there. It seems Oba- Fuck! I mean Iguro... It seems Iguro isn't here yet.

There was alot of food everywhere and I wanted to buy cotton candy for Iguro.. Though it'll probably melt the time he arrives. Just when a random civilian mentioned the fireworks are shooting soon, Iguro arrived. He was in a black and white striped yukata and he was absolutely gorgeous in it. He had a kitsune mask on his head but it wasn't exactly covering his face.

I blushed at the sight of Iguro. He saw me and immediately ran to me. "I'm not late for the fireworks, am I?" Iguro asked. I was too stunned to speak but I eventually did. "No, you have perfect timing. The fireworks are shooting soon." I told him. He sighed in relief and stared at the sky waiting for the fireworks.

When he wasn't focused on me, I got enough time to buy cotton candy for me and him. I ran back to him and he was still staring at the sky. I guess he's really excited for the fireworks. Kochou and Kanroji were talking in a far distance also staring at the sky. I looked over to Uzui and Rengoku and they were also staring at the sky.

They're that excited? I then stared at Himejima, Tokitou and Shinazugawa. Yes they were staring at the sky.. I then looked at the small figure beside me and blushed a bit. He looks so adorable when hes excited.. The fireworks had then shot at the sky and created beautiful colors. Iguro laughed a bit and smiled under his mask..

He then held my hand while staring at the fireworks. "It's gorgeous..!" Iguro exclaimed. I wasn't exactly focused on the fireworks because Iguro was more beautiful than the fireworks.. I held his hand tighter while everyone was focused on the fireworks. I then took off his mask gently and kissed him softly.

He flinched and was surprised but.. He eventually kissed me back. Am I dreaming? Why did I kiss him? He's probably mad at me but then our lips departed. "You jerk.." Iguro told me blushing the fuck out of himself. He looks so cute.. "You liked it didn't you?" I teased. He suddenly burst up and wore his mask again. "O-Ofcourse not..! I was just caught up in t-the moment.." Iguro said averting his gaze from me.

I could tell he was lying because he was really red.. His hand felt hot too. "If thats the case then I won't do it again." I told him. Iguro then stared back at me and looked at me as if he didn't want me to stop. How adorable.. Though he didn't say anything. I'll kiss him anyway, anytime I want. He's too good for me..

Iguro then stared back at the fireworks. It was still going even after two minutes. The others were stunned and screaming. They seemed to love it. But I was more interested at Iguro than the fireworks. I stopped staring at Iguro and looked at the fireworks. I was enjoying this moment.. I finally get to spend time with Iguro.
