"Ai-chan, you should rest," You told him.
"But you're here! And I don't want you to leave..."
You smiled softly. "I won't leave you Ai-chan."
"But the last time I slept...when I woke up you were nowhere to be found..."
"I promise I won't leave this time, now ho get some rest." You pat his head and sat on a chair beside his hospital bed.
"Promise me?" He gave you a sad look.
"I promise."
"Okay..."
He closed his eyes. You smiled to yourself and pat his head once again.
You also took a nap while he was resting.

While you were sleeping, Ai sat up and looked at you. He have to tell you but he can't. He doesn't want you to cry.
He pats your head and smiled sadly to himself.
"(Y/N)-chan... I'm sorry I didn't tell this to you... But I just..." Tears rolled down his cheeks. "I hope you forgive me after this. I'm really sorry..."
He closes his eyes and kisses your forehead before laying back down, pulling you with him.

You were awakened by beeping sounds. The sound that id usually heard in a TV show when people dies in the hospital.
You found yourself on Ai's arms.
"W-what?" You looked at Ai's peaceful face. "N-no... A-Ai-chan..? Y-you're joking right?"
But it was no joke and you knew it. His heart wasn't beating and he wasn't even breathing.
You pried from his arms and called the nurse.
But it was too late. He was dead and you knew it.
