Chapter 2

Now Sanju is an 18-year-old girl. It's morning and She was sleeping in the store room when someone came and poured a bucket of water on her. "Aahh" shouted Sanju. "If uh sleep like this, then who is going to do the household chores?" It was Mrs. Singh, her aunty. When she was taken by her Uncle and aunty, that is Mr. & Mrs. Singh, were not treating her well. They treat her like a servant of their family. They live in Mr. & Mrs. Malhotra's house, which means Sanjna's house, she is having her room but her cousins are staying there. They never let her stay with them in that room and always bullied her. Mr. and Mrs. Singh provided a store room for her forcefully And that's why she sleeps in the store room. She always misses her parents and her brother.. There is only one person in that house who cares for her and loves her, and that is Sushmita, who is a maid.

"Let me sleep for some more time!" Said, Sanju. But Mrs. Singh didn't agree with that. She harshly pulled her hair. "Aahhh!! Leave me!", Sanjna said while crying. When Sushmita heard Sanjana's cry, she immediately reached the store room. As soon as Sushmita reached the storeroom, she saw that Mrs. Singh was hurting Sanjana. And she immediately went there and saved Sanjana. "Leave her! What are you doing??? She is just a kid! You are also a mother of children, And one is of Sanjana's age, so how can you do this to her?", said Sushmita. "She is not my child and never going to be like my child.", said Mrs. Singh.

"Don't forget that she is a child from your own family", says Sushmita. But Mrs. Singh left them as she didn't care at all. Then she took Sanjna with her to the kitchen.

In kitchen

"Sushmita Aunty, why do they always behave like that with me? What did I do to them?", said Sanjna while crying. When Sushmita heard her, she started to comfort her. While hugging her, Sushmita said, "One day everything will be alright, there will be a day when you will get rid of this hell. They will pay for hurting you like this."

Sanju was crying a lot, and she said, "I want to get rid of them. No one will stand for me, because everyone is against me." By hearing all these Sushmita is feeling pity for her. Then she said, "No dear! There will be someone in this world who can help you out." Sanjna was still crying and she said, "Who? Who will help me? Mom, Dad, and Bhaiya everyone went to heaven, leaving me alone here. No one is here with me." Sushmita could understand her, and she did not reply to what Sanju said. Soon Mrs. Singh entered the kitchen and said, "What are you both doing here? Are you here to do the chores or just to gossip? Make breakfast for everyone." After saying this Mrs. Singh left the kitchen.

When Sanjna became a 12 years old girl, Mr, and Mrs. Singh stopped her from going to school. Whenever they get angry about something, they torture Sanjna. Sometimes they beat her with a belt and all for no reason.

On another hand

In Living room

Mr. Singh was sitting on the sofa while thinking about something. Soon Mrs. Singh entered and saw him. "What happened?", asked Mrs. Singh. He noticed his wife, Mrs. Singh who was standing near him. He said, "Do you know Mr. Khurrana?" Mrs. Singh remained silent for some time and said, "Oh your friend!!" When Mr. Singh heard that he smiled and said, "Yes, and his son wants Sanjna for one day. And Mr. Khurrana said he will pay 10 lakhs for it. He said to come to Palace Bar with her" As soon as Mrs. Singh heard 10 lakhs, she agreed with that, and finally without thinking of anything Mr. & Mrs. Singh decided to take Sanjna to that bar. Mrs. Singh was so happy but her happiness faded away when Mr. Singh said, "Darling!! There is bad news as well!! " Mrs. Singh stayed with a confused face. "Sanjay Malhotra, Mr. and Mrs. Malhotra's Son, and Sanjna's brother; is still alive. He is in Paris right now." Mrs. Singh was shocked by what Mr. Singh said, so without wasting any time she asked, "Where in Paris? What is he doing now?? How did you get to know about it?" She started to ask so many questions. "I know only this much because of our staff. I still don't know where is he in Paris. What's he doing etc? We will find it soon.", says Mr. Singh.

They were talking about all these things but they were not knowing that someone was hearing them. And it was Sushmita. She was shocked by hearing all this. "How can they do this to a little girl? She is Mr. Singh's sister's daughter, and he is doing this to her!!! And Sanjay! Sanjay is alive!! But if he is alive then why didn't he come here to take Sanju with him??" like this a lot of questions were going on in her mind. But anyway, she decided to save Sanjna from Mr. & Mrs. Singh's plan of giving Sanjna to Mr. Khurrana's son for one day!

Soon she went to Sanjna and said everything. "How they can do this to me?? And Bhaiya! Bhaiya is alive!!!! And why hasn't he come here yet to take me with him??? Aunty I don't want to stay here now!!!" she started crying after saying this. "You were thinking that bhaiya is not alive, maybe your bhaiya is also thinking the same about you. And That's why he must not have come here yet ", said Sushmita. "But I want to go and live with him. Not here. ", said Sanju while crying. Sushmita was feeling so sad for Sanjna, and she was also crying. But anyway, she said, "Sweetie, I also want you to go and live with him but I don't know how I'm going to do it. Before working here I used to work in Anika Ma'am's house, she is a producer. She goes to different countries as well. Maybe she can help us with this." A small smile formed on Sanju's face when he felt like she could finally meet her brother, and then she said, "Really?!"

"I don't know dear whether she will help us or not. I think she will because she is a kind-hearted person. But still what if she is busy", said Sushmita. She is caressing Sanjna she is not saying anything. But soon Sanjna said, "It's ok! At least we can ask her. But anyways I want to go to my bhaiya and stay with him not here." So without thinking anything Sushmita called Anika. As she received the call, Sushmita talked about the matter. Anika was feeling so pity for Sanjna. "It's so pity that the police also is with them. I will surely help you. But the matter is how she is going to come out of the house. Do one thing my people will be there with a car out of the main gate of your house. If she comes there in the evening, then leave the rest of the matter to me." said Anika. Then Sushmita said ok to her and hung up the call.

Now Sanjna is so happy as she is going to meet her brother after a long time.

Soon in the evening, Sanju and Sushmita went to the main gate. There was a person with a car. They were talking to that person when someone came in between them. It was a person who worked for Mr. Singh. Sanjna and Sushmita were having a big bad with them, seeing that, the person asked, "Where are you going?" Sanjna and Sushmita saw him and got choked and scared. But Sushmita gathered all her courage and said, "None of your business" Then that person held Sanju's hand harshly and said, " Yes it's my business. I can't let you go from her." Then Sanjna started to cry while trying to escape from his grip. Susmita and the person who was sent by Anika try to handle this situation. Finally, Sanjna got rid of his grip and Sushmita said," Sanjna baby, Run away from here go we don't have any other choice.!!" Then Sanjna ran away.

Anika's man is still dealing with Mr. Singh's man. "We have to take him with us otherwise they will get to know about everything. ", says the man. Sushmita said, "ok! But Sanju..." She was worried about Sanju and that man noticed her worried face and said, "Don't worry nothing will happen to her. She will be in the nearby area." Sushmita sighed for a while and said ok, later they left the place.
On the other hand, Sanjna ran away from there and hid in the back side of a car, and she slept unknowingly.

A few hours later, Mr. and Mrs. Singh were sitting in the living room while talking about random things when their daughter Mina, came to them and said, "Mom Dad, where is Sanjna??" Mr. Singh noticed her and said, "She might be in the kitchen or somewhere here." When Mina heard that she got, a little angry and said, "She is not here! I searched everywhere." Mr. & Mrs. Singh were shocked when they heard that. Then they searched everywhere in the house, but they didn't find her. That's why they went to Sushmita. "Where is Sanjna?", asked Mr. Singh to Sushmita. She replied, " She is there in the backyard." When Sushmita said that, Mrs. Singh got angry and slapped her and said, "Don't lie, We are sure that you know where Sanjna is?! You should tell me otherwise it will end up worse." Sushmita knows where Sanju is but she doesn't want to tell them, that's why she lied, "I don't know where she is! She was with me a while ago and left while saying to me that she was going to the backyard." After hearing her side Mr. & Mrs. Singh & Mina left from there.
